  1. Yeah that bolt is a temporary fix and yeah tracking is a must. It is the 5 pot yes. 2.5ltr 5 pot turbo love the noise.
  2. Before bolts I got Where it was rounded. As well as the bolt My fix Looks on the pic like it's rubbing arb drop link but it ain't Front Sitting well already. Be spot on after a week of settling. Now for a bath..... For us both
  3. Job today was dropping FroSTy onto her sweet little arse. 40mm h&r installed by myself. Ran across one problem where the drivers hub clamps onto shock the thread in the hub and the nut where rounded. Fixed that with a longer bolt and a locking nut. Took me about 5hours to complete with running to motorworld for a 15mm socket and going back again for the bolt. Happy with results. Sits just above tyres. Be better in a week when settled. Thanks to bdperformance for provideding springs. Now she just needs a bath after a well deserved kfc... Pics to follow...
  4. Tpi wheel nuts arrived and fitted. Also I fit some blue led's to the interior and side lights. But the side lights looked tacky so got some ice white ones instead And a little edit on my phone
  5. Remap and recirc was done yesterday. What an animal it has opened up. Pulls like a train and will not stop. Turbo sounds epic with the recirc too. Well chuffed
  6. Another purchase I didn't expect to be doing thing morning. But froSTy has some new shoes In a couple of weeks a remap is due. Also I think the wheels will look better with some stance so she needs dropping a bit. But she's coming together how I want to now
  7. ok so as promised now photobuckets working pics of intercooler install. ran into a problem where a jubilee clip I thought had split the cold side boost hose, but luckily it was just a rubber sleeve where the jubilee just knocked out of place. there was some air escaping with engine running. so I ditched the rubber and just tightened the plastic cold air in place with the jubilee (which looks like most people have done). next step is some zunsport grills so the intercooler can be seen better and to get them cam covers painted and intake pipes on (still waiting for 80mm jubilee clips) look what the post man brought me....... more airrrrrrr getting to it size difference of airtec vs standard the rubber spacer I thought was split causing boost leak issues finally done.
  8. few pics. bought some demon snow foam from motorwold. only went for a sponge and seen the 2 bottle on offer so thought why not lol. came out with some good results. car does need a good clay baring though I think. close inspection theres loads of golden brake dust speckles. bit I'll get there in time. also these are what I need welding. struggling to fund anyone that does aluminium welding though :/ anyone have any other ideas what I can do? would drilling a hole and some tiger seal hold it or would there be too much pressure going threw and it would just blow off? and finally for a bit of fun. went go karting again but this time for a mates birthday at daytona in manchester. loved the track and a made a fool out of the rest of the grid. think I need to take up go karting lol. as for more updates. today I shall be getting round to fitting the rs ecu case, hopefully find somewhere to weld the pipes and if so get my induction completed. more updates to follow later today I hope.... rest of my kit arrived. will look somewhat like this. just need the jubilees now and get the spout welded and shes good to go fitted ecu case at least :/
  9. ok so a few goodies came today. got some st-oc decals for windows, some more alloy and silicone pipes for induction. i measured the spout and it is 10mm. struggling to find a 76mm alloy t piece though that has a 10mm spout. all seem to be 25mm spouts for bov fitment which is not what i want :/ so today i fitted the stickers (car needs a wash). iv also ordered 45 degree elbow for part of induction and ordered a 10mm hose for breather. still awaiting rs ecu holder anyways a couple of pics.
  10. here's my st. had it since feb and still love driving her so far she's had a custom group A induction, de-cat, and st badge on grill. and the question.... im currently in the process of customising my induction more.not seen anyone do it the way i am as im trying to save costs from getting a ds one but also make it look smart and my idea should pay off (touch wood), anyways on the standard black intake pipe (long one that sits on top rear of the engine) there is a breather hose that clips to it at the back just before the bend. does anyone know the diameter of the nipple on the intake that the breather fits onto? at a guess off top of my head im imagining it being about 10mm??? ignore the location of the ecu, its only temporary until my rs ecu case arrives which should hopefully be this week.
  11. Not been on here for a long long time. Who be interested in seeing my latest project? Sandly not a Honda though. But it is turbocharged
  12. yeah you are just a bit lol. its always one of the first mods i do to a car, nice and cheap should look good on, im not keen on how theres gonna be a big chrome bit in the middle still but itl do until i get angel eyes or mk1 facelift and spray them and add angels but we will see was gonna be next mod on the civic this after fitting spoiler lol
