I think my first question is.. Does it look like my head gasket??

It will be my first replacement as i have little mechanical experience but theres nothing a little research wont teach. And maybe a few wise words too

That wouldn't worry me at all, and if I could hazard a guess rocker gasket would be the first thing to check/change before hg became a possibility

As above any oil usage or anything through the exhaust with any coolant loss?

Hi Arran,  I agree with Tom and Andy,  it's a minute seepage that's probably down to a rocker cover gasket.........you could try tightening the rocker cover a tad and maybe use some Gunk to shift the mess.

Once your engine is clean it'll be easier to identify the root cause.

Good luck :) and let us know how you go.

Thank you for the replies guys. I will order myself a new rocker cover gasket anyway because im going to check my valve clearences and also change spark plugs so I'll do that whilst im there just to be safe. I'll let you know how it goes

Mine has oil in the exact same position mate but I haven't had any real HG symptoms yet. The car doesn't use any oil, doesn't overheat but it does use water and it's gotten pretty smokey at idle but I'm attributing that to the recent cold weather and straight through exhaust. I think it'll probably just be the rocker gasket mate, and I did read before that it could be the Vtec Solenoid leaking a bit.

On the intake manifold? Pics ain't to clever on mobile.

Defo looks like rocker cover gasket seeping a little.

As mentioned above clean it up properly then it will be easier to see where fresh oil is coming from.

Be careful tightening rocker cover bolts though. The studs snap very easily.

Yes dexter! Lol

Couldn't possibly be HG mate with the seepage above.

Change the rocker, add gasket sealant to all corners and DONT over tighten it
