OK tonight i thought i would play with my p72 i got back from Scott at H-tune on Wednesday last week, i used used a fast road map i aquired from another helpful civic5 member thanks Steveolkenevel ;) and what a difference it makes so simple but changes the car entirely have another map to use but is lacking launch control.

anyone who doesnt have a p72 or some form of remapped ECU on their civic how can i put this your missing out man seriously loving it.

anyone think we should ask Dave about hosting an upload and download area for custom ECU maps that we could all share civic5 members though?

i have a few extremely good ones i got free from people that were willing to help me also some SOHC ones for p28's.

Knight (Paul) can we put it to vote?

The only reason i am doing this side first is because

1. its on going and can modded to current setup easily getting best from what you have.

2. its cheap for me as i already have what i need.

after christmas its 2.5" 4 branch with 2.5" decat new front torque mounts and fit that powerflow i bought in september.

summer next year i want to get the integra type r cams and valves and retainers fitted cheap and great gains.

ECU playing is fun just wish i could do live mapping maybe next year will look at that after type r cam setup.

Wow, you have been busy. Some good stuff going on.

The bushes army to bad. I took the arms off and cut all the old rubber out. Then me and Paul pressed them in a vice easy enough, news two people though I think as they need to be lined up perfectly. I think handling wise they will be fantastic. Comfort wise maybe not so good!

If you still need wheels. I will be selling my rotas soon.

Dirt cheap to anyone on here.

I have not had time to do the RTA bushes yet but i will be after crimbo definately i have been bored at work so decided to take a look at this spoon chip i removed last week in place of the H-Tune fast road map as wasnt sure how it would run in the b18c4 appears less aggressive than the Htune to be honest :o .

i find it fascinating that people pay so much money for something so simple you can buy the components from maplin's less than 50 quid and thats including a EEPROM reader/burner even cheaper from RS components and the maps are tiny files again i think we should have a download and upload section on this site for .bin files might pi55 a few tuners off but sod it were in a credit crunch ;) .

It's always nice to share the wealth.

id certainly like to have a play with this fast road map you mentioned.

compare the fueling to a gsr base map.

How does it compare to drive?

Still iabs enabled?

the fast road map is spot on to be honest for everyday drive i cant fault it tiz flawless IAB's still enabled and the power delivery is nice and smooth top end is a bit better but also has launch control i was very impressed, really the chip is mapped to 2.25" 4-1 mani and decat but never the less performs well with standard kit i only currently have the ITR intake and air box with K&N and denso iridium plugs with KV85 leads and removed AC nothing exhaust side yet and gob smacked me.

i have emailed Dave regarding creating a members area in which we could share base maps all used at the owners own risk but i just begrudge someone charging £29 quid for a basemap which is free with Chrome plus we would be able to share custom maps i think we would all benefit their isnt enough on this site regarding tuning with the P72 and it really isnt rocket science.

how do others feel?

p,s a good site to DIY a P72 http://cars.homenetcs.co.uk/honda-civic-mb6/modifications-ecu-chipping.htm

i used this the part regarding the 3 surface mount capacitors is bollox ignore makes no difference at all.

You can use nokia chargers as a tuner local to me uses them for the old hondas! I have no idea how he does it tho?!

Dont forget to disable the eld jamie on crome. I miss playing with that program!

If i dont sell my engine in the new year im keeping it so might need my old map emailing over pal ;)
