Seems weird to warp them on the road.I love mtec discs last forever and work well for me.I'm using Mintex rear pads and nissin super street front.Braided hoses too.And to be honest they are serious. Like jeez Louise when go hard on the brakes.Yeah with my setup it's not often I have to really press the pedal hard but when I do stamp on it I get a reminder of how bloody good they are! philgor
Got the front disks and pads on, the rears still need doing, but both carriers have a seized slider, so had to give up. Most of the juddering has gone, did notice a tight spot on the osr disk, so must be that, the rear hubs were quite rusty. And the front disks were warped and cracked. Had to hammer them off..

3gdean
Thread revival... Ive done 15K on mtec discs dimpled/grooved. they are proper scraper now, had a regrind in between discs. no good with mintec pads, unbearble amounts of dust. 9k on these ds2500 didnt last 2 seconds with these discs, braking power was great. still not enough for semi-track. 6ishK on these, (was boost tho) Anyone know of a link for 4x114.3 282mm brembo blanks....really struggling. Cheers All
Dave
Not sure if Brembo do them for the MB6 stud pattern/disc size mate. You had a look on their site?
dr_broon
Sure that I've seen Brembo brakes for ours.. Not sure if it was just pads though. I've had ebc grooved disks before and liked them (more than the black Diamond ones I had before).
dr_broon
Have had a look here http://www.apbrakediscs.co.uk/ These guys seem to specialise in Brembo, but don't list disks for the vti. Might be worth dropping them an email if you are really interested in brembo
