KiNK43
Fair play man. I've got a patch in same place on wheel well in my civic. That looks as good a job as welder did on mine.
VTISmichael
More progress, painted the patches and started on blanking off the square holes behind the rear wheel.. Going into work early to make the rear coilover bits, getting excited!
VTISmichael
Again the welding was gd and bad, had to fiddle the settings again but done and painted, will filler it over and smooth it over like it was never there! Other side to do!
VTISmichael
Blocks done, tacked the bush bracket up for a rough test fit, the bracket needs to be at a slight angle for smooth action, just the top rings to make and weld the bracket up Oh i need to do a wheel test fit too! Also my sisters corsa finally got taken away! and ive sold my missus jimny but not taken payment yet but soon! Dave
Coming along nicely mate and fair play for doing all your own welding. I tried it once (at techy at school) and just couldn't do it! Which is strange as my dad was a professional welder for around 40 years! Was always gonna teach me but sadly never got round to it. Loving the pic of the original prototype Micra! I loved them high back seats they had when they first appeared on our roads!
VTISmichael
Bit more done, progress is a bit slow as ive been super busy over the last few days, just need to weld the other block and do the ally ring adapters and the rear will be done! Thanks dave! I learned to do it at college and ive only small bits here and there over the years but i got a gd mate who is a weld by trade so mostly i just get him to do it lol Gotta love the 80's marketing beats todays rubbish ads!
