He reckons the 5 door Civic (and maybe other models as well) are really prone to blowing gaskets.. This sounds a bit dodgy to me.. Is he right?Thanks... civicturbo79 Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 I have never seen a standard head gasket blow on a m18c4 engine , but i have blown heads gaskets on them with i was putting 26 psi of boost into them , but that is to be expected . Dave Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Yeah, deff never heard of hondas of any kind being prone to head gasket failure. He's deff got honda confused with rover. The rover K series are prone to H/G failure. I think all k series will pop the gasket at some stage PS: for a laugh, stick a skoda badge on his golf.
