stoatman
From a connector point of view , you need to short out the OBD code connection thing. In my car it was under the glove box on the passenger side. You just shove a paper clip into it. Yeah , get yourself a strobe light kit of ebay. I would say you could borrow mine but then I looked where you are LOL !
gofra
stoatman - is that offer for pick-up only? No worries, I will get a strobe light of course - thanx for the advices (..and the link, NIKH25!)Best,F
KiNK43
Interesting. Mine makes a chatter too. Ignition timing was a complete guess. Turned it one way, dynoed. Then turned it the other way, dynoed again. Left it which ever way made more power. I thaught the ecu compensated if its out anyway? Quite interested in getting it right now. gofra
Afaik, ECU does set it correctly yes - but it needs to be "zeroed" ...adjusting the dizzy manualy you are "lying" to the ECu about the base point. Someone correct me if Im wrong please
shebabby
the ecu can only change to optimise the settings its set to !it will only change the fuel and air to compensate but cant adjust the manual adjustment .depending on the fuel your running depends on the timming adjustment ?turn dizzy = tuningecu = fine tuninghope that makes sence ?
