From a connector point of view , you need to short out the OBD code connection thing. In my car it was under the glove box on the passenger side. You just shove a paper clip into it. Yeah , get yourself a strobe light kit of ebay. I would say you could borrow mine but then I looked where you are LOL !

Interesting. Mine makes a chatter too. Ignition timing was a complete guess. Turned it one way, dynoed. Then turned it the other way, dynoed again. Left it which ever way made more power. I thaught the ecu compensated if its out anyway? Quite interested in getting it right now.

the ecu can only change to optimise the settings its set to !

it will only change the fuel and air to compensate but cant adjust the manual adjustment .

depending on the fuel your running depends on the timming adjustment ?

turn dizzy = tuning

ecu = fine tuning

hope that makes sence ?

I do have a timing gun. Just couldn't see the Mark in the light. Found it on the pulley. But couldn't see it with engine running. Any ideas how? I tried chalking it too. Still coulnt see
