wantone
So after passing the MOT it was time to sort out my brakes, I had to scrap the Hi-spec 4 pot idea as the calipers were too far gone Got myself some grooved Mtec discs and some stoptech fast road pads.I must say i am really impressed with the stopping ability Before - (Blank EBC discs + Redstuff pads) After - I've also ordered some HEL braided hoses, caliper paint and 4 new bleed nipples, That's next weekends job!

Krzys
Decent stuff going on! Braided lines make a big difference!
Dave
Looking good! Money spent in the right place with the brakes mate. Them sensors are a pain in the MB owners ass, the price for them new is ridiculous! Sounds like you got a bargain! Would have loved to see the owners of the other cars that failed the mot when yours just sailed through!!! lmao
wantone
So, decided to fit my new cobbled together induction kit today.I wasn't feeling the ebay special long arm/cold air induction kit Got myself a BLOX 3" filter with velocity stack, some 3" alloy tube, a 76mm to 70mm 45 degree reducer silicon hose and a self sealing take off.Fits nicely... Feels a lot more responsive now, and obviously sounds immense I am a bit worried about heat soak so i'm going to add a cold air feed to the front bumper and then i'm going to design (bodge up) an airbox out of cardboard and my friend is going to copy it out of sheet aluminum for me

wantone
I finally got around to fitting my braided brake hoses at the weekend, quite an easy job really. The hard part was the bleeding! First time we bled it the pedal was really spongy, Ended up using nearly two liters of Dot 5.1 and a vacuum bleeder to get rid of all the trapped air! Feels much better now Also fitted some new bleed nipples as the originals were well past their best, o/s/f was that bad it had to be removed with mole grips!
