fyfie5
the horrible fizzing sound of a blowing exhaust started earlier this week if its dry tomorrow im going to have a look underneath the car, im hoping it will just need re sealed with exhaust sealant somewhere.
fyfie5
yep I feared the worst and it has happened crack in my manifold and to add insult to injury a slight leak from the sump seal, lucky both aren't that major and can be sorted in time but still annoying none the less! Krzys
Have you checked the sump bolts are tight? Common for them to loosen over time on Honda's.
fyfie5
that's a good shout actually since I did get it replaced a few months ago!
Krzys
Hope that's all it is mate! Each oil change I get done on a Honda we always just check the bolts are tight, you'd be surprised how much they work themselves loose!
fyfie5
checked the sump bolts and all were tight, it looks like a tiny bit just didn't seal quite right when the new sump went on and its now starting to seep out. But the good news is I replaced my cracked manifold with a toyo sports one and exhaust is all nicely sealed again. Hoping to get the leak fixed asap as im going to a meet next weekend!
