fyfie5 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Share Posted August 13, 2014 picked it up at 4:30pm today with a correctly coloured bonnet that was already silver as they got one that was the right colour, nice new windscreen, the dent in the roof popped out with no cracks to the paint but it has left 2 little dents either side of the aerial and he said he's organising a panel beater with smaller specialist tools to get those out for me in the next few weeks and its all cleaned out on the inside, they have done a fairly good job. and our silver aerodeck is booked in for a MOT next week and he said he will do it free of charge as well. He definitely feels bad about the whole thing and confused how it happened as he said he did the MOT on it and shut the bonnet fully like dropped it down and no other mechanic is owning up to touching it after so its really weird. But I happy with their repairs and it will be as good as new after those small ones are knocked back out, and the new bonnet doesn't have hardy any stone chips but my old one had heaps and some rust coming through.
