Grant
Bugger mate. Worth having a go at doing what I said though before giving up completely!
Krzys
It's the cause of my current dry spell Tom! Yeah I will be giving it a go Grant, cheers for the heads up on that!
vtec2011
Damn that's a shame... Did you have much trouble fitting the handbrake cables?
Krzys
Cables weren't much hassle, one side needed cutting of and then pressing out of the braket that bolts to the caliper but otherwise it was straight forward.
Krzys
Ugh, clutch has always been heavy with a low bite point but last few days it's been a dog to get into gear whilst stood still and changes are clunky and horrible...

Krzys
ah shit .... cant help but see this as an upgrade oppurtunity though Yeah of course! Just hope it lasts long enough not to need to dip into the holiday spending money! I don't mind taking the hit on the credit card as I've been building that up for a rainy day anyway! Was hoping to replace the drive shafts at the same time too while it's all off.
Krzys
Also found out why my lights where flickering, alternator belt has started chewing the wire that goes across the front of the car!
Krzys
Think it's the hi/low bit, will see how bad it is when it's dry out. Not a lot to replace but it's money I can do without spending really.
