NIKH25
Can't say I've ever oiled one either.
skymera
Just had a quote on some work to be done: - Full service- Brake fluid flush- Clutch fluid flush- Coolant flush- Front wheel bearing WITHOUT fitting £366. Seems far too steep considering I could do most of it myself.
NIKH25
Really depends on what's included in the full service.
skymera
Really depends on what's included in the full service. All filters, oil and a set of plugs.
Krzys
That's too much to say you could do that lot yourself! But if the weather stops play you'll be wishing you had paid for it to be done!

But if the weather stops play you'll be wishing you had paid for it to be done!More than happy to do it myself. I did want anothetr stamp in the service book but the cost of the service is more than what it'd keep to the value of the car..if anything at all. Some decent 5W40 fully synth oil and NGK plugs should do me fine Got a friend willing to do the wheel bearing for me too.

skymera
Car booked in at a local garage to have both rear bearings done. £199.80 for parts and labour. Seems fair, bearings alone are £100+ a piece on eBay! Also bought 5L of Fuchs Titan Super 5W-40 full synthetic oil
