Lol yeah everyone of my m8s has taken the p**s out of the fact its a rover k series lol but it was only the rovers that had a major issue with them due to bmw cutting costs in an attempt to bleed them dry of all revenue but lotus rarely had an issue so i bought an uprated mls elise headgasket n bolts so should be awesome

dude you need to try a 160 the gearbox is dull but the engine wen working is a little screamer n it p**s's all over my m8s ek4 lol

This is exactly what I keep saying to everyone when it comes to the common head-gasket fault, but they just choose to not believe you...

We got a Rover 45 with a 1.6 K at work. I fitted a modified head gasket set with slightly shorter head bolts. Done 3000 flawless miles so far :)
