I've been using cars at work or the BMW for a bit now that I'm 22 and on the traders at the garage lol, driven some right sheds.. and some right beauties!

Yeah the fuel light wasn't even on! It was on 1/4 but cause it was the same fuel that got me back from Mimms and I hate going out 'just to fill up' I thought I'd put £30 in to get some V power points and so I don't have to worry about going out and not having fuel!

Sooooo foglight time!

So this is the standard EP3 front bumper grille, which I assumed removed from the back of the bumper so I could trim it that way or perhaps get a piece from a model with foglights but nope! It's moulded to the back of the bumper, so I think Honda make two sets of bumpers one for fogs and one without - So cutting did have to take place!

So I received the fogs and lets just say.. Full of sand, rusty inside but when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

So we split the insides and painted them black, then removed the front bumper:

It was time to cut up the bumper grille and fit the fogs! This was scary as a week before Japfest the last thing I wanted to happen so I delegated it to dad and got him to sign a crayon'd waiver saying if he messes up, he buys me a new bumper haha

Basic fogs fitted and all looks good so far, put the surround on just to see

All that was left to put on the lenses.. f**k.

When cleaning up the old dirty lenses one of them shattered.

Decided to go get some Lexan/Polycarbonate for the lenses as they won't shatter and is relatively cheap.

You may be wondering why there's california scents on it, well the sealant on the lexan had to settle right?

Fitted a neat little toggle switch

And now the finished product!

All done! I want better bulbs for it though but I love the fact they're wired independently so I don't need headlights or sidelights on to have the fogs on! Very happy with my mod for £85 all in vs the OEM Honda £220 and as far as I know this style hasn't been done before. OEM EP3 Fogs have brackets and proper surrounds, I never got those so it had to be fully custom and flush. Very very happy with the result. A clean then it'll be ready for Japfest!

Nice work! Delegating at it's finest!

Definitely! there was no way I was going to risk cutting my own bumper as I'd never used a jigsaw before let alone on my own car! Came out well though and I'm very happy with the results, now I'm 50/50 whether to go for bright white fogs or the 'JDM' yellow bulb look! I wanted a facelift bumper later down the line but now I've got these fogs I reckon I'll keep this bumper and maybe fab up a custom splitter.

Yellow FTW ! Looks good

Thanks! Final prep for Japfest begins! And yeah seem to want yellow now :)

If you want functional fogs, get yellow halogens. If you just want to be you, get 12000K HIDs. :P

What do you mean just to be me? Hahaha, and yeah probably yellow for function y0
