Krzys
Try a mirror?I'm banned from those! One of my parcels turned up this morning, need the other to come then I can do the work to finish my track prep! On a side note, going to set about changing the door speakers in the day.

Krzys
Small update, fitted my Focal PC130 door speakers. These are 13cm (5 1/4") which is smaller that the OEM one but much better quality! Thanks to @Shafzzz for the info about this handy adaptor! This is the OEM speaker. Fitted! Broke two clip holders on the drivers doorcard but when I removed the clips from the door they seated in what's left perfectly fine so I'm not fussed about that. As I said, it sounds so much better, with the tweeter part in the new speakers the vocals are so much clearer now and I can have it louder with more clarity too!
Shafzzz
Looks sweet! Glad the adaptors help, it's amazing what a difference speakers can make isn't it? I plan to tackle mine today after work but it's the first time doing component speakers so I have no idea how to do the crossovers... The only crossover I know is the one at 5800rpm
Krzys
Crossover's are pretty handy, basically used to separate frequencies so the mid puts out the bass and the tweeter does the higher up stuff. http://www.bcae1.com/ I've been visiting http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/ipb/quite a bit lately as I'm thinking in the future of doing a small SQ install! Loads of info there including a build a guy is doing in an EP3
vtec2011
That's a nice speaker install with adaptors and cushioning, doing it right I love Focal audio, I use to have a set in my old Civic but unfortunately one had a slight crackling noise

Shafzzz
Didn't do my speakers in the end, got back from work, looked outside and was like.. do I really wanna go out there and remove door panels only for it to start raining? Haha! Can't wait for this car to make mine look crap next weekend! Nah it's pretty cool how at Mimms we'll have a black preface and a cosmic grey face EP3 on stand The EP3 takeover has begun, first Mimms, next, the world!
Krzys
I'm just waiting for my parcel to arrive! Today is the 5th working day (3-5 working days for delivery) so if it's not arrived when I get home from work I'll have to chase up and hope they can get it to me quick time as after Saturday I won't be able to fit it before Mimms!
Shafzzz
I really wanna know what it is! I have a feeling it's coilovers Especially as you're tracking at Mimms? Oh well we'll see! Such a clean car man, I MIGHT attempt speakers today, but I've been saying this for 2 weeks since I've had the speakers sitting downstairs :lol; What was the toughest part of the install btw? Never done speakers on anything other than a VW before! Also I take it I can't use the adaptors I bought as I have to wire the speakers into the crossover?
