Heater in my car is weak??? Is blower gone??

Mine has gone like this as well, but screetches at all speeds.

 

I'd changed the pollen filter a few months ago and also bough a new resistor.  I just need to find some time over the next few weeks to take a closer look.  I take it the heater blower is just behind the glove box below the resistor?

Get a new motor ASAP!

Mine did this, then one morning smoke started belching out of it... Luckily I was just setting of from home, and had a screw driver in the car to disconnect the motor.

Yeah, fitted a variable resistor in place of the regular four position dial & hooked up a £17 motor controller. That all worked fine. Bit of an effort for what it was worth, but finally solved the blowing wires. Can't say I ever got round to the faster motor, with it all functioning well enough, there just wasn't enough value in doing it!
