  1. One of your fleet probably owes more than most people's cars on here

  2. Good choice, man! I think this is what'll eventually happen to most mb6 drivers... sooner or later they realise decks superiority in all aspects . Glad to see you back in the m game .

  3. Got my radiator done, all is well with the car, also got an MOT done and it passed Was hilarious when he was doing emissions and was confused at how fast an EP3 revved, bounced off the limiter once in neutral and it shot a small flame . One advisory for nearside rear tyre but I was changing them this month for Rainsport3s to match the fronts anyway! So another years MOT on it I just need to renew tax end of this month then I can go mental with the mods for show season

  4. Yeah it was on eBay a few weeks ago which is where I saw it. The exhaust was the most embarrassing thing I'd ever seen, managed to knock off a decent amount from the price because of it . The ToyoSports one is much more subtle but it's not nearly as loud in Vtec. No rattles though

  5. I've driven both, if you go Sweden you get nice and easy (but a bit boring!) highways all the way to Stockholm... but the overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki is pretty good party! On the other hand the roads in Poland and the Baltics are pretty good these days, we did Tallinn-Warsaw last may in a minibus and i don't see a problem why a convoy of low civics wouldn't make it... plus it's definitely more interesting in the things to see along the way department! So my advice would be to get the best of both worlds: one route in, the other one out. That would be a nice 11 countries on one go!

  8. So steadily chewing through the list. Today had a good mate deal with the following: CambeltWater pumpCoolant changeCenter console installed (I couldn't get those rusty bolts out!) Yum! New parts! Old one didn't look too bad! Well that looks like crap! Glad it's changed now. I should be getting it back tomorrow as he's going to take a look underneath and hopefully get it tracked. He commented that he the found drive a little skittish! Dom (Torque1320) advised to get a some extra bits: Water hoses - The ones in the car were not as firm as the original ones so were replaced at some point.Fuel filter changeSpark plug change - Have new plugs, need to changeGearbox oil change - Have oil need to change Here's a more stripped down priority list and progress report: ABS - Picking up a second hand ABS pump and ABS ECU this weekendDrivers side mirror - Fitting when weather is goodPassenger wing mirror glassAirCon - Pump, bracket, tensioner and torque mount purchased but need bolts and fittingNew tyres x 4 - See how tracking goesNew spare wheel tyreNew car key - Might be getting 3 keys and whole lock set including all barrels, transponder thingy and ECU for the price of one new key! We'll see how this pans out this weekend.Sun-roof rubber seal - Should be picking up this weekend = £10 for the seal... and sunroof!Front passenger lower fog light - awaiting stock from breakersExhaust - It was blowing but I hate the boy racer tip at the end - so found a decent second hand one.Good thing is that the engine seems to be in good condition and has seen regular oil changes. I'm getting happier as things are starting to get fixed and can't wait until its more about the drive and going fast safely... but fast again.

  9. The back end of an MB is heavier than the back end of an EG. It's likely the springs are designed with the EG's weight in mind, not the MB.
