  1. Yes I kid you not, I've been off the radar for a while but I'm back to introduce to you my new weekend toy, Steve! A few quick details/spec for you: 1999 123k miles (added a few miles already though!) RB25DET - Standard (Supposed to be 280bhp) Fresh import, landed in the UK December 2016 Turbo back 3" Fujitsubo exhaust HKS dumpvalve Blitz turbo timer Rays alloys Tape deck! I can't believe how comfortable the car is and I think it's pretty quiet while you're inside too! Love how it sounds too! I'm just glad it's not the everyday car because it gulps VPower for s**ts and giggles!

  2. Project has sadly come to an end. With a broken gearbox and PAS pump, as well some bad rusting on the rear roof lining, I decided to strip the entire car and start over with a fresh Rover 400. Only this time I have bought an SLDi which is a top of the range model (Minus the leather interior to make it a GSDi), which means electric windows, mirrors, air conditioning etc. etc. It's also the intercooled model, so a standard 105bhp as opposed to the 84bhp from the non-intercooled model. It also means it's electronic injected so I'll have to buy a chip-tuning box to release some ponies. They have the potential of getting up to 150bhp with the tuning box and a few mods. Unfortunately these engines weren't remappable until the Rover 45 models, but the chip tuning box will give a 20-25bhp increase as well as 20% torque increase so just as good. I have a few new ideas to put into the car so stay tuned.

  3. Haven't updated this like I should! Basically just a second outing at Cadwell Park. It was a really good day! Dave is a little sore though, cooked the rear discs and pads, split the oil-filled engine mount and split the air intake pipe but all will be sorted for the next outing at Rockingham at the end of March.

  4. Since my last update I've got another job so the majority of my time is working at the moment, but being part time I still manage to get a few days off a week which gives me a bit of time to work on Vietnam Ive had a few things done in the past moth and a half, including a full custom stainless exhaust, wooden steering wheel (from Japan), new wheel bearing, put in a TRS helmet hammock to put random stuff in, rust proofed and painted the new boot floor top and bottom. Exhaust is now the 4-1 mani going into a "3 downpipe to a stainless flexi, then a 24" long silencer continuing 3" back over the axle to a £20 jap can I found in a local scrappy, which surprisingly silenced the exhaust a lot! This was all made by my dad at GPZ Automotive! If any of you are around needing an exhaust making I cannot recommend my dad enough, he puts so much care and attention into making each system perfect and at a very reasonable price! The wooden wheel I imported a few years ago for my Micra and I finally just bought a boss and put it on, was strange at first being so small but I love it New wheel bearing as the old one started clonking Ive noticed that my fuel tank, filler neck and fuel lines are pretty darn rusty! :'( so im thinking when payday comes, I'll put in new copper lines, look into buying a new tank, and making a stainless filler neck, that way I won't have to worry about any of that causing issues
