it will be the plastic clips with the round thing on the end that slots in the groove of the boot.. mine not only rattles but squeaks.. its like having a guinea pig in the car when there is no music.. :/ plus if your back end is as rattly as mine.. needs new bushes.. that might make the rattle worse!..i have a combo of "toolbox rattle and guinea pig squeal" going on in mine.. lol

this is most definitley my car of the year entry for 2012!!!!.. mate you have a truly immense and clean car there.. most of the stuff you have done.. is what i had in mind for mine!. looks superb in pirates black.. your strut brace has given me some crazy ideas now... love that sticker!. wanted to ask.. how much work and $$$ was it to roll them arches... and that d1 kit you got.. notice any difference in that?. am thinking of getting the d1 earthing kit as it looks amazing.. and that gadget you have looks pretty sweet!. how are those tyres faring up?. is there much wear?. looking fior more longevity in my tures.. i love the proxes but imo they are too soft and seem to wear quite quickly... how much was it for 4 if you dont mind me asking?.

aaa but i have an aftermarket set of led plasmaglow dials.. likely they have not blown.. otherwise the 3 other clocks wouldnt light up aswell.. but behind the clocks is the OEM honda clocks.. but rev one would be a case of replacing said bulb..

okay the car has been fixed and is now back home after its trip to Honda.. they say the fault was because a fuse had been put into the wrong place?. now i dont mean to be rude to honda but i know for a fact i didnt put the fuse in the wrong place.. i checked.. rechecked and double checked all the fuses... yes i didnt have a fuse diagram however they were all fine.. however did unearth a few other things on the free "health check" my power steering rack seems "wet" - any ideas? and how much a new p/s pump maybe? can anyone supply any reputable links for them.. slight play in both front wheels?. this will be sorted.. however as happy as i am to have the car fixed.. the rev counter dial is still not illuminating?. so will have to take a look at the dials in more depth at the weekend to see whats happening.. but if i wanted to could i not mention this to honda as technially not 100% fixed... i know Jalesi would be good for the last question as works for honda..still no mention of the purple & yellow wire by honda lol

how do you mean not reconnected the dimmer switch?. i did have to remove the dash the gain acess to my 12v feed for the oil temp gauge, that is where the power runs for that.. so when i reconnected everything and switched the sidelights on to see if the oil temp gauge displayed correctly (red & blue) thats when i noticed that the sidelights were oiut.. upon thjis i then had a blown fuse.. thats when i replaced said fuse.. but still nothing.. but simpo you could be onto something.. as i may of reconnected the oil temp power feed when said dimmer was not plugged in.. the loose wire thingy is yellow and purple with a blue spade connector on the end?. might try and grab a photo or something.. bit dark now..

there maybe a how to on here... although i removed said air con.. havent got round to selling it.. think it might even of got chucked to a scrappy!. but relativley simple.. just remove the big parts you can see.. like the pump.. rad.. some of the pipes.. just a case of undo the bolts.. i didnt use a how to

i know all about the headache.. this is causing me a massive headache.. as it seemed so simple.. i took it to my garage normally and they said there is no diag port - is this correct?. as if so.. this means Honda are going to take a while to find said error as will need to check all the wiring to make sure.. now someone said something to me that seemed quite plausible.. as the stalk that controls the sidelight to dipped light.. this couldnt be broken thats causing the error?. i mean it still allows me to turn off the headlights but when i turn it nothing else comes on.. its really hard to explain in words..but i have even swapped over switches (dimmer and fog) and still nothing.. i have plasmaglow dials and an aftermarket oil temp gauge.. now the oil temp gauge work but doesnt light up when using sidelights.. aswell as the dials.. they just dont glow anymore.. niether do the original clocks.. as you woiuld be able to see them shining through the dials.. and yes the car starts works fine .. stereo works fine.. indicators work fine.. reverse lights work fine.. brake lights work fine.. but nothing when i need side/dipped lights.. so the dangly purple and yellow loose wire is for ABS diag? so i can tuck this outta the way as thought it was loose from something else..

i have had to take the motor to Honda, it will be going in tomorrow.. the thing that worries me is at £90(inc VAt for labour) how long is it going to take for them to find the error!. i have had a my normal garage look at it but they cannot seem to find the fault.. think it could be the wiring which honda said they will trace this through the whole car to find the fault.. now i am no made of money but it sounds like this could take a little longer than anticipated.. have even replaced the fuse with a new 10A and also tried swapping the switch over... so tomorrow morning i have the pleasure of a Honda Courtesy car for £10.00.. (me reckons its going to be a JAZZ.. ) wouldnt mind one of them CRX things to pootle around in until its done.. so once they have investigated i should no more.. however i have noticed from the back of the fuse box a purple and yellow wire which is hanging in the footwell.. anyone have any ideas what this might be? could this be the problem.. as i have NO idea where this wire goes or has come from..

no i have been unable to as its now dark and being a sunday nothing open.. so i am going to try replacing the switch tomorrow.. but the fuse i replaced was a red 10A.. think it was above 10-11?. if you know ahyweher i can get a fuse box schematic for the under the wheel it would be much appreciated so i know what fuses are what... just odd that although i still have reverse and brake lights.. i dont have a single running light when switched onto sidelights or main lights.. and fog light wont stay on so i am thinking the switch has blown?

have checked all fuses under the hood and also under the sterring wheel.. only one was blown.. potentially that could be the case, but coould the fact a fuse that may of blown then caused the switch to blow if i didnt know about the fuse that had blown?.

hi guys, noticed my oil temp gauge wasnt displaying the correct readout so i reconnected it where it should of been.. this runs of the 12v stearo so it turns off when the ignition is off and wired into the foglight switch in the dash.. i also have the EL plasmaglow dial kit in there wired onto "piggybacked" on the foglight switch aswell.. now i had a blown fuse but not sure if this was before or after i replacedd everything.. but this fuse was a 10A, i put in a 20A.. so now i have NO DASH LIGHT, NO SIDELIGHT, NO REAR SIDLEIGHT when i switch to sidleights... however i have Headlight (xenon) but no rear lights? could this be the fact the "fog" light switch has blown which caused the fuse to trip or have i got a big issue / problem / headache coming up with the electrical system?. have checked and re-checked my wiring and all is okay and re-wrapped where needed.. i need help asap.. will try replacing the fog switch to see if thats the case.. but have a feeling it might not be..

Hi, i have lined up a new set of front wings and a bumper ready for my new VTIS splitter have been painting for 2 weeks.. looking amazing. great end result even for a shack can!. now i am looking at couriers as the guy wont ship.. offered me £60.00 to take two front wings and also the front bumper.. so i need to know sizes, does anyone here know what size the bumper is in mm and also the weight of the items.. (each) so i can get a quote from a courier to see if its going to be worthwhile or whether its better if i go up and drive there.. (thinking fuel is going to cost a bit more) had a look at the tech specs of the vehicle but this is not really as much help as i need.. i would imagine that the length of the bumper is the biggest part as the wings can be packaged into one box.. HELP is MUCH appreciated:)

Ruby looks amazing bud! definitley needs lowereing and it will look Awesome! where you find the kit and how much did the lips cost and how much paint you use? as a rough idea.. as i wanna know when i will be able to look for a kit.. keep up the work with ruby
