    My 1st legal car was a mk2 escort 1.3 ghia with twin webers, nameless 'pancake' air filter, 4-2-1 manifold, straight through exhaust, rs2000 boot spoiler, capri ghia alloys and 4 spotlights (1 pair clear, 1 pair yellow). When I was 15 I had an Austin 1300 countryman, to learn mechanical skills on, I failed.

    To be honest, it doesn't seem all that different without it in but I haven't driven any distance yet. Yes, I've fitted my interior light and visor back in without the liner.

    Not even fiddly, I was surprised how easy it was. Thanks mate, I do love the chronos. As you've said such nice things I forgive you for not visiting before.

    Thanks, I don't know how they got like it, apparently a common problem though. I think they are stretched quite tight and the glue just lifts away over time. Definitely worth doing the roof liner.

    Cheers bud. Really easy to change actually, it helps if you have an extra pair of hands but it's very straight forward. Remove visors and light unit, then grab handles, sunroof trim and rear trim. Pull down door rubbers, pop the top trim of the A,B&C pillars then while the other pair of hands are holding the liner remove the last 3 retaining clips and it should slide out.

    No only B16's in the 3 doors. Nothing wrong with a B16 though, essentially just a smaller B18 and it is the original vtec engine.

    That's cheap, 211k miles though. I thought you'd done the SMX thing and didn't get on that well?

    Jordan has B16, basically a ek4 special edition.
