  1. Well here she is boys, the replacement for the MB. I've not got many plans for her as she is looking sweet already. I fancy getting the rims powder coated white and thats about it. heres a couple of photos I took today, please bare in mind she is dirty!!! Also worth mentioning, I seem to have an attachment to pearlescent paints,as you know my old bronze MB was pearlescent. Now this car was supposed to be black, when I got there it looked a bit purpley black, when I got it to the petrol station it was metallic blue. I've since found its called Storm Blue. Me loves it.
  2. cant believe how clean your engine bay looks now dude. i think im stsying honda when its time for a new car, engines are beeaauuuutfiulll
  3. Nice one dude ill check up on here when I can.
  4. Yeah they told me to call them and gave me the dvla bulls**t. When I said the part numbers are for normal rover 45 they didn't reply. I will be reporting them to eBay for sure, dunno if that will do anything though. I wouldn't fancy going down there either, looks rough as...
  5. looking on google maps you can see a scrapyard on the same road, a bit blurry but i don see no mg's whatsoever. jus some rusty old vans etc
  6. all of us have been shafted, we have to do something surely boys???
  7. Be careful as you bought the suspension for a CIVIC! They could throw that back at you though...but saying that, there not V6 ones! i didnt buy them for any particular purpose, i just felt like buying some v6 suspension.
  8. so this is what CW have said to me. Hi, im sorry but you are 110% wrong, we do not touch rover 45's only mg zs 2.5 v6 and which have VIN proof and DVLA data to also are we are connected to them. NO rover 45 come on to our facility. If you need to speak to us please call us 01302 868 379. best regards cw
  9. well im really annoyed by this, ive messaged cw and demanded a refund under that sale of goods act. its also a major safety issue. really not impressed.
  10. PS I think we should all take dismantling action on them.
  11. i think i bought from them too and i have just found out today they are not off a v6, mine also looks higher on the front. does the back bouncy wildly over bumps?
  12. ive never seen a an 'm' civic without falling off bumper haha. a lot of other shape old civics too. whilst on the subject if you are in birmingham i bet you a fiver you dont see an m without a dent in one of the sides. its almost as common as the bumper prob.
  13. car looks stunning mate, cant believe you forgot about that ecu, its not like its just a sticker is it! u gettin her on the rollers with that soon???? you best gimme a shout when u do an i'll pop down!
  14. oh dear, looks like thats what ive got. no wonder they wear quite cheap despite good condition. the front looks higher than standard but the back possibly a bit lower. the ride is very hard and speed bumps make it bouncy like crazy.
  15. very nice dude, bodywork looking a lot smarter than mine!
  16. Tell me about it man my car has been abused with non washing til last week or so. Thanks to my magic bottle of " 12 month platinum extra gloss" it still only needs a standard wash n wax and dry to get her looking like glass again
  17. Yes the Honda ones are very small. I guess the accord R and S2k ones are probably bigger.
  18. If you need anything else then your best bet is John banks Honda, they are an official trader on here and the genuine Honda oil filters are about 4quid. Ok its six quid postage but if u need anything else while you're there its worth it. I got my genuine Honda battery for 45 quid delivered next day Fyi all petrol Hondas use the same filter except the S2000 and accord type R, so all u need to ask them for is a petrol oil filter. They even use the same ones in their boat engines, just type the part no. In google and it comes up with some boat website
