    Update I bought mine on 105 with no service history and oil below minimum and done 121k now still sound.

    enginewise its fine but just about everything else has deteriorated and sounds like its falling apart. think its previous owner didnt take care of it and im kinda ressurecting it.

    Noooooooooooooo...................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's not been very reliable at all. And still she has big problems. Not that impressed with these cars in all honesty. Apart from the looks and power for economy.

    Yeah x2! They look huge in the pics too! What wheels are they? cheers..17" dares dammit i wanted the dare drift 17"s, a bit too pricey for me though would have damaged my credit card quite badly.

    did you change your gearbox oil? how is it now? i know this gearbopx oil job is fairly straight forward but a guide would be helpful on this please anyone??

    yes im changing on my honda every 6k, but this was my old car im talking about the clio 1.2 yeah i work at a fleet company in the maintenance dept, we deal with company cars servicing and problems, we dont get any problems with hondas to be fair. a couple of colleagues said they are really dependant on good oil quality but i havent come accross any probs...

    i only know that newer hondas are very reliant on good oil quality, not sure about older ones really, i just work on the principal of keeping the level topped up and havent had any problems. my old car, a 1998 1.2 clio, i covered 56k in it and changed the oil and filter only once, it was filled with ford oil 15w30 i think, i topped it up with castrol gtx 10w 40 which i thought was semi synth, but was told its mineral, not sure now... but for the rest of the mileage it still ran perfectly and still does now @ 124k, (purchased @ 68k) 1 oil change in 56k!!!!!
