  2. thanks mate cant wait to build some more funds up to finnish the looks off ! hopefully round summer time im going to lower her and buy and some reclining bucket seats aswel as a few more mods to the handling
  3. thanks mate i am chuffed but touch wood shes past every time since i have owend her i was out earlyer and had a scooby and a audi a6 at the side ov me at the lights ! i wanted to let rip but had to hold back as iv only done 100 miles so far .

  5. ok i couldnt wait anymore so i took the deck for its mot today as it had run out 3 weeks ago and she sailed through with no adviserys at all also put 6 months tax in the window so im back on the road only done 12 miles so far and already she feels like a new car . theres a few things that need ironing out but apart from the little bits im very pleased with how it drives so far and the sound is much crisper (throaghty) with the new manifold . although i havnt even opend the iabs yet a long wait well worth it happy days and nights

  7. heres a few more pics engine isnt spotless as i managed to spill red hot anti freeze over everything when i was bleeding the rad iv mounted the expantion bottle aswel and have posted a couple ov pics also painted the (H) red on the rocker cover and fitted the gearbox earth lead ! also fitted my heat shield for the air filter today and a couple ov other bits ! will post more pics soon
  8. i have been looking for a new cap but dont want alloy becouse ov the heat so i think it just mite be the itr cap
  9. thanks peeps i will keep you in mined jon iv been bizy today again and managed to get a bit more done . today i piped the rad up its not pretty but it will do for now also only cost me a tenner for all the pipes i needed to get the job done i mocked up my new expantion bottle and braided (platted)a couple ov new earth wires (only fitted one so far) also fitted the stabalizer and a few other bits and bobs ! iv still got a few bits left to do before shes finnished but as promissed heres a few pics so far i will take some pics with a camera soon these ar off my phone so wot do you peeps think
  10. its not too late i did think about it but im running out ov time now and need my car back on the road . but i mite take it off again in the near futer and weld them in then i also thought about welding an (A) frame on the rear bar that bolts to the bulkhead
  11. hi peeps iv been bizzy lately so havent had much time to work on my civic but managed to find enough time to clean up the alloy plate that i am going to mount on the stabalizer bars also welded some tabs on to mount it and gave it a second coat ov paint ! so heres sum pics also made new earths (wire) and started to mount my new expantion bottle (alloy drinks flask) pics will follow soon

  15. i would try to keep the front and rear the same make ? just like owt realy you get wot you pay for ! so if its a good set ov brakes that you want then buy a well known brand . also wots good for another car might not be good enough for your car ? also it goes on your style ov driving ! iv always used EBC green stuff pads and discks but thats cus i dont brake till the last minuit iv also used (apec) pads and discks they still stop on a sixpence but dont like the heat ?
  16. sounds like if you get owt from motor factors it would be better to change the parts in there car park ! or even on there door step that way they will pull there finger out if parts are wrong ? i have noticed over the years ov owning hondas parts are a pain in the arse to source iv got two tie rod arms that i bought some years ago and was told they fit my mc2 but when i tried to fit them ? the inner thread was too small . couldnt be arsed to listen to a bull sh#t story so i just threw them in to the (parts that didnt fit box) i then phoned honda dealer to get a price and nealy died when they said that they dont sell them alone but i will have to buy a full steereing rack at £1300 +vat so just goes to show that even honda dealers try to have our pants down ? my reply to that was if i need a fuse would i have to buy a full fuse box they then swiftly hung up the phone
  17. i was looking through my pics earlyer and realised id forgot to take a pic ov the torqe mounts that i filled with tiger seal so heres a pic or two i filled the whole mount on the near side but only the top half on the off side as i run out ov tiger seal but i am going to fill both when iv built up more funds !
  18. a little tip for mot time ! on the way for the mot give the car as much stick as poss to get the cat up to working temp that way when its on the computer the cat should be working at the propper temp ? cats work better at high tempretures also a service within that week will help too
  19. heres a pic ov the plate so far . i made a template then drew it on to the alloy plate then drilled the outline . i need to clean it up now with the file and dremmil and also brush it same as the rad cover but you get the idea will post pics when iv done the rest !
