  3. used the wax today, was a dream to use, easy on and easy off with very little used. i used in direct sunlight and was still a dream to come off!! will get pictures tomorrow
  4. well im hoping by the end of the year. but im probably aiming for febuary next year as thats when my insurance is due, and will give me enough time to sort everything out and pay for the conversion to be done at once, rather than drips and drabs
  5. small update, wheels are due in about 3 weeks time!! literally can't wait. also will have another update to the car just before japfest 2 if its ready by then, which i hope so fingers crossed. also wax is going to be used tomorrow so i'll post up the outcome of how that went. smells too good i just want to sniff it all night. pictures to follow when the car is clean
  6. ^^^^^^^^ha ha thats brilliant!! that isn't even the most expnesive one, the next one they do is £160, then its like £475 then crystal rock is a whopping £795!!!! im not made of that much money!! maybe if i was doing Bentleys Porsche's or anything up that kind of price range i might invest in some. lets hope the rain clears so i can wax my baby. on another note i'm picking up another little toy tomorrow before work, which will keep me entertained on nights pictures tomorrow when i pick it up
  7. ye, i've tried quite a few waxes now, i used scholl concepts w6+ with a puck applicator on my freinds car and seems to work well, i have tried the swissvax before when i went on a course, but couldn't justify spending that much on wax. decided to bite the bullet and charge an extra tenner on top of a valet to pay for the wax if they want it. smells divine!! going to be getting high off all of it
  8. if it the 200ml one then thats £60+ ,,,,,,,,,,, it is the 200ml one, and the one your thinking of will be Onyx. this one is Shield... rrp £130.....
  9. nah not really a fan, i like the firm ride so i can feel what the car is doing
  10. ha ha cheers, they are sooo bouncy though, its really annoying and i can't throw the car into corners like i used to
  11. so update time!! and of course some photowhoring!! thanks to Krzys on here for meeting me halfway i now have side skirts a few bits i have sitting at home and a special present i have on the way which should arrive tomorrow, i'll upload when i get it through. anyways here's my photo's taken by my mate as i just chilled out looking at the view. sorry for the bouncy wheels but my new ones aren't here yet for a few weeks also i hadn't waxed my car as we were loosing sunlight
  12. Very true but let's make it a bit of a competition anyways. Thread:http://www.civic5.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=9026 cheers buddy just about to update my thread but at the minute i dont think im worthy :/ new wheels aren't due for a few weeks, and other bits and peices to go on. at the minute im bouncing along on standards with 60 profile tyres!!
  13. Think I'm going down the turbo route now. Think it's going to be the easier option and will give me the power I want I hope
  14. cheers for all the comments hopefully my wheels will be here in 3 weeks time, one hell of a wait for them!! you can modify them so they sit higher, i love being sat down low so i literally cut the old lugs off the S2k seat rails and made some up to fit on, will get some pictures of my handy work when i clean the car out tomorrow. rear seats im going for something different, just gotta find some material i like first which is an absolute pain in the a*s
  15. a really good wash, clay bar, tar and adhesive remover and a really good polish should sort that out mate. the brace makes loads of difference doesn't it its awesome. looking good by the way
  16. ye but then that was taken when it was really light, at japfest it wasn't as light so dulls the colour slightly. ye definitly worth the wait
  17. and here's when i went down to toms for the weekend of fun. and i was bloody knackered by the end of the weekend. if you go down dont let him take you off to his lair of toys. they are big!! anyways here's the pictures oh and can't forget japfest
  18. right then, here's my last months work i've been doing on the car, nothing too much. but i haven't posted many pictures or updated for a long while here we have my new seats when they arrived before i cleaned them didn't actually take any pictures after i cleaned them but here we go test fit into the car now after 2 days of p**sing about welding brackets and making them fit, and after being up about 34 hours after a night shift yes i know the last picture the car is filthy but i didn't have time to do it after trying to get them to fit all day
  19. we can try the rolling on mine first buddy. mine will need to go out a fair bit with the offset i've got going on
  20. ye atleast if you know you buy new its guna be new and will have some expectancy on it, rather than a used one which would have 1 month or 3 years out of it :/
