  7. exactly how i see it, not bothered about mpg anymore, if i get a good run i egt a good run, but the amount of short ish journeys i do i might aswel have some fun on the way
  8. thats cool, i've seen people that have done it on civic life. no problem i had a little bit of trouble as the hoses actually take a different route to the normal hoses
  9. right update time. had a great time at japfest especially being able to represent civic5 so first all of my parts finally came for the grill. it took me nearly 7 hours at work to get it all together, cutting off a little of the mesh at a time. then came the fitting of the new badge which didn't take too long which i was pleased with. the background of it needs to be painted black when i get the chance. i also bought some hammerite and painted my calipers which im really pleased how well they came up before: After: i also bought some orange dual filament bulbs for the USDM mod which i have previously done. here's the bulbs. i can't really get a good picture of them on as my phone doens't like all the light and blurrs it, but here's the best one i've got so far more to come soon
  10. ha ha it really makes a difference! i think there only about 140 off egay which isn't bad for a 3 point strut brace
  11. getting all excited now for japfest braided hoses are finally on after a little set back, my parts have finally come through the post!! so hopefully i'll have time to fit them ready for japfest, and clean the car inside and out!! christ I'm guna have to be on something tomorrow to keep me awake all day to get it all done!! hopefully pictures to follow if i get them fitted
  12. so ye me and my mate was thinking, how hard would it be to drop a H22a engine in an Aerodeck?? anyone know of anyone that has done it? attempted it? or if it has been done before?. reading up on the net it seems like you have to cut and weld a couple of bits. whats everyones opinion??
  13. a quick update: hoses turned up early this morning, super fast delivery to the shop considering he ordered them at about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. here is the part number for anyone wishing to purchase some and here is my stunning courtesy car, it handles like no other car does, pedals are close together for braking and acceleration at the same time if ever you need it. and it also seems to be on rally suspension so takes every bump LIKE A BOSS
  14. when they come i'll get the part number for you just a small update here, i had to change the drivers side indicator light back to the original holder so i could put the old bulb in for the MOT, and well my mates decided to help me and managed to give the engine a clean, not a proper job as it takes Bloody ages!!! soooo much crap in there its unreal!! fit my new induction kit which i bought from Aaron (Weaver88) the car sounds much nicer all the way up the rev counter unlike it was when i had the standard panel filter. it is more responsive and feels like it has a little more power. anyway here is the ummm cleanish....... engine bay with the new induction kit on. sorry its a bit dark it was taken just as i got to work Cheers dude Bay looking much better now, even if it's not 100% cheers it looks loads better than it was though

  16. i don't have a clue which part number sorry, went into a shop got chatting to the bloke and found he did goodridge so i got him to order me some, almost £80 for the set!! but going to be worth it in the long run though!! ye i can't wait for saturday!! guna be such an epic day!!
  17. so goodridge hoses are ordered and should be here tomorrow ready for the MOT re-test and at the same time as the re-test I'm getting the aircon rad de-gassed
  18. so met up with aaron tonight for a chat and have a look about the cars as its nice to see a local civic person got talking about japfest and i'm now on the stand thanks to him as he had a spare stand ticket I CAN'T WAIT!! bought an induction kit off of him which will be going on tomorrow and thought we would take a few piccies roll on next weekend is all i say!!
  19. mines 195/45/R16 shouldn't be too much difference in price i shouldn't imagine! where do u go for yours?
  20. Toyo proxy T1R's pair of them Dam I can get t1r's for 45 big ones each fitted 45 each? If so bloody hell fair play!! What size are yours?
  21. not 100% but I think both my braces was off a EK civic, it just needed a little ye brace would probably be off the EK as its the same kinda shape, and the point to point distance is virtually the same, mine was from an EK so all gravy
  22. ye i was pretty pleased it wasn't anything major!! brake line is getting done tuesday, and i've hopefully got some Goodridge Braided hoses on order tuesday when i go and see the bloke. me and my mate gave my car a service today, so spark plugs, oil, oil filter, magnetic sump plug and air filter she runs a lot nicer now!! just need a proper induction kit though. its been an expensive weekend so far!! £150 on 2 Tyres £40 on MOT test £30 ish for the brakes on tuesday £36 for oil £22 for spark plugs £8 for air filter £9 for oil filter £7 for magnetic sump plug. so I'm pretty much skint now which aint good!!
  23. so car failed the MOT front offside brake hose has been rubbing, drivers side headlight is too high and indicators are wrong colour, thats all which I'm impressed with, just annoying, so braided hoses will be going on very soon
