Yeah I can imagine people not liking the mounts too much to be honest as they do vibrate everything across the revs even at idle but not bad enough for me to put them stock again, and I wouldn't say they are too much either not an aggressive vibration more like a slightly worn wheel bearing vibration sort of...

205/50/16 7J ET40 that's what they are so no different to any of yours I've stiffened the dampers so the rears are now set at 28 clicks and fronts are set at 26 clicks it has helped slightly but again cornering at speeds it still scrapes on the rears
-
Here's how it currently sits with the meister R coilovers on Fitted the clutch and engine mounts today also here's a couple of pictures of the skunk2 radiator, hoses and slimline fan fitted

Hi all It's definitely NOT the muflaps lol I'm sure it's hitting the inner rear lips now unless I've got some absolutely ruined shot to bits bushes and ARB etc then it shouldn't still be doing this especially if everyone runs the same sort of setups without this issue! It's not stupid low at all actually I think it's quite high considering its on coilovers.... It's getting to the point where i want to hit the inner lip flat against the inner arch to see if that helps!
-
I had issues with the tyres hitting the arches in cornering and over bumps on the standard suspension when I fitted my rotas which are 7J 16" with 50mm side wall So I gave myself a kick up the chuff to stiffen it all up with meisterR coilovers... It looked awesome when I set it as low as it was BUT it was too low and scraped all over the place as in o couldn't even go round a corner without scrubbing the whole time! So I raised it by 25mm all round it sits a little higher than I want it too but thought it would cure this but NO with a single passenger in the car or hard cornering or bump it still scrapes and it's driving me mad! Anyone else run 7J wheels without any issues? It's starting to dishearten me a little to be honest!

They ended up costing me a lot of money, I wanted 16" ones but you can't get 16" ones in the U.K. In championship white so as soon as I got the wheels I then had to pay a company to strip and paint them that colour straight out the box

Well I got the 60A ones as they are designed for road cars so they shouldn't be too bad with vibrations... I'm hoping

I have just made a quick to start on my car build in the projects section

Hey all, I bought myself a black aerodeck vti a few months ago as a "daily" car but I've now decided to boost it and make it super amazing... Here she is in her standard form, bought it with only 93,000 miles and a few issues like airbag light on, cracked windscreen, dented drivers rear door (quite bad and looks man made), torn steering wheel, ripped and hanging door card material... I have sorted the airbag light but still have all the other issues which will be very easy to sort so I'm Not too fussed but sourcing a door in my particular black isn't easy and I'm still looking (It's NOT the Pirates black) As for the goodies that I have bought... Precision 5431E 4 bolt turbo TIAL .44mm wastegate SHEEPEY build ram horn exhaust manifold Skunk 2 black series ultra inlet Manifold Skunk 2 black series pro 70mm throttle body AEM fuel pressure regulator Skunk 2 composite fuel rail ID1000 injectors Prosport boost, oil pressure and oil temperature 60mm gauges AEM wideband 16" rota slipstreams resprayed chanpionship White MeisterR zeta S coilovers Cyberspeed LCA's Hondata 4 bar MAP sensor Hondata S300 V2 ECU with boost by gear installed Walbro 355l fuel pump EK9 camshafts Action stage 4 6paddle clutch kit Innovative billet alloy 60A engine mounts Skunk 2 alpha series radiator Blox slimline fan My car is booked in with RW developments in Lichfield in January to have all my custom work done which is - 3" downpipe back system Downpipe Screamer pipe 3" Boost pipes Intercooler Oil catch can Baffled sump Fittings welded on the rocker cover I'm sure there are things I have missed out and I still need to take a few more pictures of bits that I have including the car with the new alloys on and once I've fitted the coilovers to it too... Think I'm going to my unit this Sunday to fit the suspension and clutch... The White slipstreams look great on the car!!!

Thanks for the speedy replies guys, I'll make a post on my deck build shortly, it's very arousing I can assure you

I'm not looking for stupid low at all it's just to stiffen the suspension up, I fitted some 16" slipstreams 7J and it scrapes the tyres going round corners, over bumps and with passenger in the rear on the stock suspension -.- brand new AD08R's too!!!!! I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get some meisters to be honest as I'm putting 400 bhp through it very shortly and nothing I'm using is cheap either sooooo I wouldn't use inferior anything on it....
-
Hi all, Let me start off by saying I DONT want to use the MGZS setup! I've got an aerodeck vti MC2 id like to buy a full set of springs and dampers WHICH ARE A STRAIGHT FIT to my car as it is, I know I have the options of meister etc but I don't want to run coilovers yet I was looking at the koni springs and dampers but they are saying they don't have ones to suit my aerodeck as I sent them my registration, now I think that's due to them not know what others will fit like EG/EK/EJ/DC2 etc What would I need to order for that would fit? EG? EK? EJ? DC2? Etc I know I need folk fitment ones on the rear but I don't know which ones I can use.... Thanks, Paul

Make sure you upgrade the sleeves (cylinder liners) as they will be the 1st thing to let go!!!

I used my fishing scales earlier and the standard flywheel weighed around 7.8 KG.... -

Between 11-14lbs, I don't know what the standard one weighs I'll be weighing it tonight though -
Hi all, I changed my clutch and flywheel yesterday, RPC stage 1 clutch and a competition lightweight flywheel, I haven't really given it any stick yet as it still needs bedding in.... Old clutch and flywheel on the car Guess which is the new flywheel The clutch was ready to give way at any point... Now a job is new without any difficulties! I smashed my engine coolant temperature sensor with my breaker bar, a clutch bolt snapped, and the punch went through the centre of the gear linkage pin (bitch pin)

Sorry mate I assumed your was a B18C4..... I should think your fuel pump would need updating....
-
You don't need to update the fuel pump at that pressure nor do you need a FPR don't waste money on stuff not needed!
