  1. I don't want an ITR air box it's a boring look lol With a cold air induction and a decent re map from DNR would see more power than the ITR air box
  2. Nah mate hondata and a garret
  3. My car just made 177 bhp on dyno ill make a new thread now with details etc
  4. Yes unfortunately I had to take it to powerflow to weld a 2.5" - 2" reducer into the cat back section.....
  5. She's going back on a dyno tonight at dyno daze in Leicester to see what it has gained from the mods, I ran 165bhp at japfest 2 on a dyno made of heat soak soooo I'm expecting good results
  6. Also if the cat that was on it was fooked, it would have well too much back pressure and it would use excessive fuel....
  7. I know mate your telling me! I do a lot of motorway miles so that could be some sort of factor.....
  8. I personally think the whale genitalia looks bloody stupid! I loved the echo up the cold air pipe and the roar it gave mine and it still produced 172bhp on the dyno with just that, 4-1 manifold and a powerflow cat back with the cat in still..... So i was happy with it
  9. I had a cold air induction on my old deck and it sounded unreal in vtec And the colder the air the better the performance
  10. Hi all, I'm looking at getting a cold air induction kit for my B18C4 Aerodeck, It has to be AEM as they are awesome but which one will fit? I mean by cold air as in filter in the front bumper.... Will any of these do it? Trying to stay away from the V2 because of the price though.... http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?make=HONDA&model=CIVIC&year=1996-00+CIVIC&level1=AIR+INDUCTION&level2=INDUCTION+KITS&level3=&id_product=1089 http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?make=HONDA&model=CIVIC&year=1996-00+CIVIC&level1=AIR+INDUCTION&level2=INDUCTION+KITS&level3=&id_product=1074 http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?make=HONDA&model=CIVIC&year=1996-00+CIVIC&level1=AIR+INDUCTION&level2=INDUCTION+KITS&level3=&id_product=1099
  11. Well the de cat and PLM manifold are on and it pulls very well now! And I'm sure a lot of you won't believe this but it's better on fuel!?!
  12. Unless you change all them in question and spend a lot of money, I'd just bite the bullet and get the plug in diagnostic, if you check eBay they sell DIY ones for £20 that tells you what's caused the code and allows you to delete it off to remove the light
  13. Catalytic converter,O2 sensor, air mass sensor or engine coolant temperature sensor would be the most common culprits of your description.... Does it use more fuel than normal? Does it occasionally run lumpy?
  14. Around 30 mpg for me but my right foot is a brick
  15. That's the issue is the sizes never match up one way or another ill just weld 50mm of stainless steel into the de cat pipe, shame I have to ruin it really but if I send it back it will only take ages to sort out and a big mess about!
  16. Too late now ill just have to modify it once its here.....
  17. A lot of bang for your buck here Awesome bits of kit I may be interested
  18. Ok thanks for the help buddy
