  1. Yeah so am I I've lost count at how many I've had, even had a rip speed DVD on briefly before it packed up I'm on the lookout for a mp3 cd changer for it so I can load it up with discs My last head unit had a 40gb hard drive and I miss the plethora of music at my fingertips lol
  2. Cheers mate I had a look for rover 400/600 ones and they look identical, watching 2 on eBay at mo:)
  3. Apart from the bonnet and the lambo doors I still quite like it:)
  4. As title I've been trying to find a replacement fob case as mine is a tad tired now, paper and insulating tape in place of the rubber buttons and its glued together I've trawled eBay but no joy:( It's the Valeo infrared 2 button type Cheers for any info
  5. The Odyssey would only go half way on before it totally grounded out, I rove the exhaust off first time I tried as I just drove on as I normally would without thinking, the marks are still on the path
  6. I think it was an expensive headunit back in the day (2005ish) so that and the fact the front panel is not removable I think caused it to not sell too well I remember a couple of years ago I was wandering around my local scrapyard and noticed one fitted in a car, asked how much it was to which he said 'a tenner' Didn't have enough cash on me, so flew round home and grabbed a tenner, but by the time I got back some chav had nabbed it saying they would pay 20 quid if they could take it before I got back The swine actually grinned at me when he walked past with it, I could have planted him
  7. It does, it has f1 cars, and one that looks like a Subaru rally car Here it is in action on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyvgUJtTWZM
  8. Also made a conscious decision that I must loose the 'Longbridge' wood asap
  9. Thanks Dave:) Managed to pick up a new (2nd hand) stereo today to replace the pants one that was in when I got the car Sony CDX-m9900, paid £25, and to be honest its a bit all flash and no trousers, no proper aux, or usb input and the motorised flip down panel is a little rickety and noisy, thinks theres some teeth missing on a cog inside, other than that it works pretty well and has a much better sound, can see it being rather distracting, especially at night! similar to this, as forgot to take a photo
  10. Lol, I know sounds daft to describe it like that You all knew the smell I was on about:) Thinking back my last m smelt the same till I changed the pollen filter
  11. There was loads of dead leaves and bugs in there but nothing substantial
  12. I removed it to inspect it a while back and it was full of leaves and crap which I cleaned out It was dirty, how does that cause the awful smell?
  13. When I have my heaters on full chat on hot I get the occasional strong hot celery smell That's the only way I can describe it, quite pungent like celery Anyone have any suggestions what it could be?
  14. Yes think it was, no cai and I didn't think the filter was far enough away from the engine
  15. I would love a proper cat back system, maybe in the new year after the little un has been born As said earlier I took the induction kit off as it was affecting the idle, and I'm sure it had something to do with my slight temp problem I had the other day, as since fitting the standard airbox back on idle is much smoother and temp has stayed where it should. Managed to sell it for 40 quid and halved the money with my mate who gave me it, as he wouldn't take the whole 40 Yeah I will have another look at the brake light when I get 5 mins, it started to rain when I was fitting the spoiler so I probably didn't look properly
  16. Yes I'm well chuffed with it:) I couldn't figure out how to wire in the brake light, as the third brake light on mine is at the top of the screen Vtec decals came this morning so chucked them on, will have to remove the '1.4i' badge as those in the know will spot its not a vtec straight away Also cheap 6 quid ebay exhaust tip, looks better than the pea shooter standard exhaust
  17. I was thinking that as my mb4 did
  18. It's been fine ever since as have kept the fuel level out of the reserve
  19. I think it would be just a case of swapping the loom and electric window motor over etc Door card too As for removing the door itself remove the washers on the pins and knock the pins out then offer the new door up, align the pins and knock them back through Don't remove the hinge bolts or it will take you ages to re align the door to close properly I changed a door on a mk2 Mondeo, different car I know but the principle was exactly the same I would remove the old door first then lay them side by side and strip the old door of the manual mechanism etc and transfer everything over first
  20. Will do I was thinking about going down the MG ZS setup, ideally would love coilovers, might try and sweettalk the mrs
  21. I had a calibra that was lowered 40 mm and that used to bottom out, and the Odyssey rove its exhaust off
  22. Interesting to see the 1.4 in bits like that Did you put a new cambelt on and have the head pressure tested/skimmed?
  23. Hi mate, yes I remember telling you about civic5 Gearbox started to get some issues and stupidly swapped it for a Saxo VTR I then got contacted by the police as someone had used it for bilking
  24. Looking good mate, loving the gear gator and knob I would recommend getting a cai on your induction kit if you havent alteady, mine suffered really bad heat soak I removed that box thing in front of the filter on yours, I don't even know what it is lol
  25. The alloys are 17"s I tried to find another set of the ones I had on my mb4 but couldn't in my budget, those were wolf race Asia tec triads, got those for an absolute bargain from an old guy selling them for his son As for the mb4 it was developing a nasty crunch into 5th gear and had started to jump out of gear, I foolishly swapped it for a Saxo VTR, what I was thinking that day I don't know
