Wherebouts are you in the North East?
-
Shocking, probably drunken yobs trying to act all manly in front of their girlfriends I once saw a lad run over the top of my bonnet and roof and have woken up to an upside down wheelbarrow on the roof of my then 3 year old Mondeo, needless to day I went off it

It looks like the badge that's on the boot sprayed white? -
I think the wheels look amazing, I honestly can't imagine them looking as good on any other car

Same here with my old xr2, I had the engine rebuilt twice and it still did it -
As said above I would love a new exhaust Over the next few weeks I plan on servicing with decent oil and filters, new plugs etc A good clean and detail, painting calipers and drums Doing the flyeyes on the front headlights, more carbon wrapping and cleaning the alloys thoroughly as 2 are badly stained yellow from brake dust That's it really until Christmas is out of the way:)
-
Yeah, I'd love a stainless steel catback Exhaust is fairly crusty and was blowing from the joint, tester put some exhaust gum on which has quietened it down, however it's just delaying the inevitable Might have to justify this to the Mrs

Cheers Mr B Just taxed her for 6 months today so that's out the way now Insurance renewed on Monday, mot'd and taxed today so needless to say I'm skint this week The joys of motoring, although can't think of many cars that you could insure, tax and mot for under £170

Isint water/oil mixing not usually the way the head gasket goes in Hondas as they're is a water jacket around the bores preventing oil/water contamination? Its usully water loss/pressurising issues -
Maz's Silver MB2 Project... SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! :(
Roylewaa replied to ammarbm's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Looking very nice mate:) Personally id go black for the rear drums, in my opinion any other colour just draws attention to them, and I always associate drums with less powered cars I'm going black with mine:) -
Thanks again chaps, it's booked in for 9am, always get nervous as I hate mot time:( I'm quite friendly with the guy who's doing the test so hopefully zorst will just be an advisory, although I haven't been underneath to see where it's blowing from He passed my Zafira which filled the garage with blue smoke when he was doing the emissions Managed to mess with the probe and get the levels in the green by the skin of its teeth The black carbon wrap has been a right pita, as I didn't get the air bubble free so spent all day getting air bubbles out, with the odd tantrum thrown in, it's all done now, managed to get the fuel cover done aswell
-
Yeah checked all the usuals and everything is in order Only concern is a quite dull rear number plate and a slight blow from the exhaust
-
Thanks chaps, I wanted to get underneath and clean up and copper grease the brake pipes, but the weather stopped that happening It had brake pipes last year so fingers crossed
-
I thought that, mk3 Astra
-
Started more carbon wrapping yesterday in black this time This time I had a go, not as neat as the wife's but certainly not gash Also nipped to the scrapyard yesterday for a footrest and a horn from a breaking 45 Beeped at some kids on bikes over the weekend and they neirly fell off them laughing at the sound of the weedy horn, mip mip Also mot tomorrow, I'm quietly confident

Afaik it's bolted from behind, 10mm bolts:) -
Yep, I'm just waiting on them coming up in the store:)
-
That was my response as well I think a late plate mg zs (the one with the grilles in the wings) with a honda engine would be cool, agressive looks without the reliability issues
