  1. Nice nuts! But will they fit? your wheels will be acorn seating wont they? Iv'e struggled to find aftermarket nuts to fit oem wheels.
  2. Knight- Yeh there one of mine too! other than my brakes but you already have them standard James- Cheers mate! still got one side to go but im gonna wait until the weather is abit better i think ill just rush it and make a hash of it if i dont. It looks like a few people want me with the welder
  3. Finally got both my seats in today. Mega comfortable i love them Gave them a quick clean too but still want to do them properly.
  4. Cool what wheels you thinking of? ^^^^ As above, when i first started in the honda game i rushed into buying some coily sleeves. I actually never dare fit after i read up on them. I have also been led to belive they are dangerous. Be Careful!!!!!
  5. Finally! been looking forward to this update. Its looking great is that mate! proper job! How long until you get it back?
  6. Looking spot on now mate! Not keen on the bombed front wing but hey.. each to their own Any future plans?
  7. @ kink- No probs. Cheers mate yeh i like the pattern too! looks in keeping with the cars age
  8. So i have been led to belive. I think all civic's 91-01 use the same seat mount bolt pattern. ek9 rails fit and dc2 but the dc2 ones just sit abit lower.
  9. I agree mate. Looking forward to seeing them both in. I really hope its possible to mod the rears to fit too
  10. I modded the evo rails. I had to cut, bend and weld the front mounts so they mount into the vertical mounting postition and totally re work the rear ones. But luckily the evo rails are only about 3mm different than the civic! It wasnt difficult though aslong as they were kept square it was hard to go wrong. Gonna do a quick how to with pics for kink43 so you'll see how i went about it. I just couldn't bring my self to spend silly money on dc2 rails!
  11. Cheers guys Fitted my drivers seat today and its surprisingly easy to mod the evo rails and do a proper jobb! I'll be fitting my pass one in the next few dayss. I could do a little how to if it would help ya?
  12. ahh cool! so it is available then. Theres a how to on youtube and ek9.org using woolite think im gonna try that for the big clean.
  13. ohhh... how did you used to clean your. Any products better than others/ techniques ?
  14. Yup i love them ek9 rails fit and dc2 rails fit too with a little work and they also sit a little lower than ek9. Think im just gonna fab my own for the time being out of my originals.
  15. Check these out i went to collect tonight. Evo 4 recaros with good bolsters ( the same seat as dc2?) just need to modify my old rails or get dc2 ones. mega chuffed always wanted a set of these. i also got the rear bench and door cards chucked in so gonna try modify the bench to fit. Just need to clean em. whats the best thing to clean alcantara with? Big thanks to my old man as these were a xmas present
  16. A few pics from tonight. My second numberplate trim is now curing also made the mold from the front grill badge and got that curing too. If anyone is interested in any of these parts check the for sale section. Will be removed from the mold in the morning and trimmed. so will probably take a few orders tomorrow if any one is.
  17. There you go http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurney_flap The one i have been making is purely cosmetic though!
  18. lol, looking forward to it though! Be interesting to see the finish you get using that method for laying up the cf - resin infusion will give you an awesome end product but is way more time consuming to setup Well ill be snapping them out of the mold in the morning i have 2 number plate surrounds and the front H badge curing now I did snap one out of the mold this morning and it looks spot on! Just havn't had time to trim it up. it looks a bit of a mess when not trimmed
  19. Sorry guys thought id already said. The gurney flap is on hold for the time being as i need to make a 2 part mold and im not sure how im gonna go about this yet. Hope that clears things up The part in the mold is the chrome trim on the rear number plate recess. obviously in cf though
  20. I thought it might have been to stop the window dropping down too. strange
  21. They'll look nice them once refurbed mate! And hopefully it should solve your problem with the clearance issues!
  22. I probably could mate but it would take a while to make cause of the shaping from scratch,Then the mold making etc. plus i dont have a deck to use to make it . It maybe be an idea for the future though
