  1. it is a good xmas film!! I was strangely attracted to the gremlin with the lippy and sussies!!
  2. As i mentioned above mate..they sent hoses with only one mounting bracket and they were too short. They were for a civic....just not our model! In Demon Tweeks defence, they were quick at sorting the problem, u may not get that service if ordering from some tard on ebay.
  3. Sorry Krzys, just realised you asked a question. YES but I had bother from Demon Tweeks with regard to hoses. They supplied me the wrong ones at first. Front hoses have TWO mounting plates on them. Ones they supplies had one mounting plate AND they were too short! Just make sure you make it clear when you order to save crying like i did!
  4. **BUMP** Is there any pictures of the said project, now that it's been almost 2 years....or was this all hype and dreams?!!! Any info would be good as i was looking at these rota drift v's also
  5. Thanks mate! All my wee add ons have made it slightly different from the other m's! But it's not as nice a dinochips and co...love those headlights!
  6. Looks nice mate, at least theres nothing major that needs doing so thats a bonus....all the wee things can be done when you have time! All you need now is an induction kit and lowered slightly!
  7. It had a chip already in the ecu but my car cut out the odd time when coming to a halt...obv it was chipped to the precious dc2 so had to get live map to sort. Car drove really well on getting it back...now has one vtec point at 5000rpm as recommended by Triple H.
  8. Hi mate, got ecu from ebay and got a company called Triple H Performance in Scotland to tune it. Cost £300 for live custom tune. Worth it as it came back a different car..for the better!
  9. May be worth thinking about actually! I will report back with any findings!

  11. I haven't posted a recent picture either mate, i have done some wee cosmetic things since my last pictures but weather has not been kind for any decent pics. Fire your car in anyway...who cares if we don't stand a chance..it's all about the taking part that counts! Cheers Alastair
  12. I will pop mine in as well..got trounced in last the last COTM i entered but hey...last one this year!!
  13. I was shocked to hear this on Sunday also, the other half was socked also. I watched his youtube videos and followed his passion for cars along with him. Sad loss and a real grounded guy who loved cars and everything that goes with them. Not only cars but he helped others less fortunate out with various charity events. Sad news that an accident as brutal as that claimed two precious lives. R.I.P
  14. While it has had alot of money thrown at it, we can't be expected to re-line the sellers pocket. Modifications rarely add a huge increase in re-sale value as stated in above posts. But i would agree that it seems a good car and, i presume, well built!!
  15. Perfect reply! Thats what i meant to type!!
  16. It always surprises me that people expect to get most of their money back when selling a car with mods on it. It simply is not the case. The car is only worth around a grand and we, the buyers, do expect to pay slightly over that for the work done but not to the tune of four f**kin grand!
  17. In the chosen ebay ad, click the 'items sold' icon next to the quantity box. This will tell you the date when someone bought the exhaust system. Then go into the sellers feedback and find the date it was sold on and check accordingly, the feedback list. Try and find the item sold (you may have to check a few days after sold as people post feedback AFTER part fitted). Usually the buyer i.d is listed on feedback....email them and ask their thoughts on the exhaust they bought. I hope you understood this waffle! Cheers
  18. Mine pops, bangs and flames as well...my vtis is a tad too loud on normal driving but you only live once i say!
  19. Traced my oil leak to n/s driveshaft seal. Theres oil along driveshaft and on gear linkage boot. £10 from honda for the seal....just the MTF oil thats feckin expensive.....as i changed the gearbox oil not that long ago **sighs and head in hands** Thanks Simpo for pointing me in the right direction Also thanks to VTEye for the effort to help out. Appreciated guys
  20. Aaah! The sump gasket was leaking slightly so I will get it on the ramps and see...as its obviously got worse! I checked the round seal at camshaft (as one came in the kit) but it was dry. Thanks mate
  21. I have noticed recently that after a 'hard' run there is the distinctive burnt, dry oil smell. There appears to be no smoke from the exhaust (in mirrors when accelerating hard) and on further investigation i discovered the x4 rocker cover spark plug seals were letting some oil into the spark plug area. I changed them within days, the oil cleared up but smell still there. I noticed a small haze of smoke when i stop...as if coming from the engine. I have no visable leaks though...any ideas to point me in the right direction please? Alastair
