Earth could be a nice cheap thing to try changing. I'd certainly give it a go anyway as it won't hurt. Might be worth checking the main earth too?

Type S should be a 4dr 2.0. 1.6 is not VTEC (properly). Neither are EP3 as that is specifically a Type R. Sorry, annoys me when cars are referred to wrongly. The sport you've linked to is an EP2 for reference. It looks a nice car though, random black bonnet but other than that just needs a few quid knocking off the price.

Yeah I had the CD changer in mine, which didn't work so I binned it for the extra boot space!

It's what really frustrated me at the time, because there's so much that could cause the same symptoms you just end up spending hours and hours troubleshooting. Took me a few weeks to get it running again after I had changed various bits! Hope you get her sorted soon!

It was spot on when I sold it mate, but I know there was a problem shortly after and the dizzy was apparently replaced a second time!

Not a lot happening at the minute. Should be giving her a good clean on Sunday inside and out, she needs it! In talks with someone I know about a small audio build, the main thing I'm want adding is sound deadening to the doors, floor and rear end! Then some components and a small sub suited towards SQ.

Will yours lock the rears in anger? I haven't tried mine to be honest! Seems to hold well on hills though!

Yep should be the same. Rears should screw into the bumper and bolt into the inner arch I believe.
