Cool will look into that J&R motors place as it was only £30 odd quid if my memory serves me correctly. Can anyone confirm if these guys are any good as a few mates thought the price was awfy cheap for a shaft.

Just a little update, never had a chance to check spigots as work has been crazy at the minute. Did take it a run to newcastle yesterday so got a good chance to try and evaluate the issue lol. Only does it on acceleration, minute i let off the vibration goes. Also only really starts from 60 mph and can only really be felt through drivers side. Could this still be spigots? Thanks for all the reply guys will hopefully nail this soon.

Going to check spigot rings today at work if am not too busy. Would something so small be able to contribute to this?

Checked for wheel bearings this morning and their is no play at all. So not bearing and wheel balancing. I dont know if it helps but if i sit constant at 60 it constantly vibrates as well, go any faster and vibration continues and quite often gets worse with the speed.

Yea mate had the wheels baanced. Ill jack it up and have a wiggle of the wheels lol and thank man let me know if u do have a mount

Any idea if they are expensive? Bloody annoying and keeps making me feel cars goin to fall to bits lol.

Howdy, thought of try see if anyone has any knowledge of my situation before I go blasting needless cash on parts. When I accelerate in my mb6 the whole car vibrates quite a lot. The harder the acceleration the worse it vibrates. Isn't the wheel balancing as this has been done. Anyone have any views on this? Things that have been suggested: * driveshaft play * no sprigot ring on alloys * faulty tyres but now have new tyres on Their was a few more I'm sure but my memory is shocking at times lol. Does this vibrating sound familiar to anyone at all? Many thanks folks.

Yea mate it was a fair bit of cutting and welding. Not saying every exhaust from eBay will be like this but his was a stinker. Mega loud as well but he enjoyed the noise lol.

Duno if it helps at all but ma mate had an ebay exhaust for his civic hatch and it was a ball ache to fit. had to reposition hangers etc and it wasnt the right length. If you dont mind the faffing about then ebay system is the way but he ended up tearing his off and going custom.

You tried bleeding with the cap off and hold the revs quite high. It took us about 30-45 mins in total to do the bleed. I know how frustrated you must feel bud especially at this time of year cause im guessing your radiators wont be as hot as they should be either.

Yea as soon as coolant dropped it was instantly topped back up again. Will keep a wee check on levels over next few days. Hopefully the guy who started the thread gets his resolved soon.

My thermostat has been changed and seems to have solved the issue so far. How have you been bleeding the system? Guy from my work bled mine and he kept radiator cap off, turned inside blowers to max and kept the car at high revs for periods of time. Their was obvious amounts of air coming out and the temp gauge even rose to nearly red. Then all of a sudden the coolant sunk into radiator and gauge shot down= air lock gone. temp gauge has been fine past few days and heat inside the cabin is now immense lol.

Just to update bud I've been told by a reliable mechanic if the thermostat doesn't sort it, theirs a chance it cud be water pump.

Every chance yours could be faulty mate. Take it back and try to get another one? Once mine arrives ill let ya know if it'd helped. Hope u get to the bottom of it with yours bud.

Nah mine is the same mate if i drive it, it doesnt reach temperature. If i sit and idle the temp gauge goes back up to normal but if i drive it usually goes back down again. I have a thermostat ordered and hope it cures it but obviously it hasnt helped yours. I'm sure someone on here is bound to have exprienced this before.

I have same problem and have just ordered a stat lol. Intrigued to hear if it coud be something else tho. Does yours go up to normal temp when stationary?

Are yours pretty vicious? If I tap my throttle a tad some of the pops are like gunfire and fireworks lol.

Just a general query guys. Does anyone else's mb6 with a mongoose and decat pop like mad. And when I like blip throttle to try make it pop it bangs like I was turning igniton off. Sounds awesome lol just wanted to see if its normal.

Changed settings to a 4 cylinder so second cam now kicks in at 4800 but at changeover it kinda goes drrr. Anyone have any good insight.

hey folks got one of these controller things in my mb6 when i bought it However the revs etc read wrong and it was set up as a 6 cylinder and second cam to come in at 2900rpm. Anyone got any useful information about these things?

okay thannks for that makes me feel a lil more at ease lol. goin to go check oil etc as well and maybe do a cheeky wee change.

Hey folks just wandered if a mb6 which was fully pollybushed, braided clutch lines, light flywheel stage 2 clutch and a short shift, should the heat changes be stiffer than usual due to the mods or would the mods make it easier?
