They should have manufactured the. With the stage 1 map as standard as no other mods needed to support that and it makes hell of a difference apparently. Oil arrived today. And as promised there's an extra ltr bottle in there (probs supposed to cost about £20 0w40 grade catrol edge

So got a message back about the oil. Apparently it's been damaged in transit so he's sent another kit and added another litre bottle of oil as an apology. Top service if you ask me. Just a shame about the hiccup

Well nothing else gone on yet other than cleaning her. I've got a few more white hoses to put in the bay and I've ordered an oil and filter kit which should have been here a few days ago but still waiting. Got 5 days off work hoping I could get oil change done but doesn't look promising

Well with the weather being nice today but didn't have time for a full clean I just gave her a quick spray on touch up detailer and polish the exhaust tip and didn't come out half bad Hopefully with weather being better now I don't need to give her a full clean every week lol.

Focus st225 pops and bangs:

Yeah I'd just applied the snow foam n dragons breath n it's started raining. Wondered why snow foam was rinsing quick haha. Well the plenum has definitely caused more pops and bangs. Just drove back from playing football and its banging for fun (good thing it does it on demand tho) I got a quick vid so I'll get it uploaded

That plenum made hell of a difference, throttle response is soon as I just feather the throttle, feel much sharper. Turbo chatter is so much louder and exhaust seems a tad deeper and bangs more. Wonder if my standard one was split as I'm surprised how much of a difference there is :/

Old one off New one on. Just need to get the engine cover finished and the bay should look quite well. Ordered some more white hoses to go on the hoses near the battery. Should have a nice touch

Possibly. Would be nice. Been told it causes more pops and bangs, bit more flutter noise and exhaust slightly deeper. We will see anyways

Collected the plenum. No Krzys it won't need a remap to fit. It's not a big performance gainer. Just helps airflow a bit and looks good lol. If anything's it's like upgraded your standard airbox to a performance air filter. Websites claim a 5-10bhp increase but they probably only putting that so they sell lol. But people have said they can tell a difference. Hopefully get round to fitting it this weeKend. I should do tho. Not a hard job. About 9 bolts and 2 hoses. As I've already upgraded the induction I don't need to remove the old airbox to get access to it otherwise yeah it would be a pain as taking the old irbox was one fidgety and painfully job

Go pick up the plenum/inlet tonight. No doubt be fitting it over the weekend
