sorry it took so long but as promised.... the m3..... kyekye im not big on beamers but all I know is its a 3 series, was a 318i but had the m3 engine chucked in it anyways, pics..... how he got it and our work so new wings, didnt come with a front bumper so I had to sand a purple one and get that painted, calipers painted red, angel eyes, grills and grill suround painted too. wheels painted bonnet off, car masked, and the matte paint begins roof masked paint on finished product. also with carbon mirrors, new bmw centre caps n m3 alloy wheel badges tinted rear light. we tried with black spoiler, but decided to paint it back red as it breaks things up at the back. funny how just a resprayed bumper and wings has led to a full paint job. previous owner had resprayed it but the shade of red was way off the original bmw red we sprayed the bumper and wings hence why we ended up doing the full lot. its a better red though, more glossy and deaper hope you like it. will get more pics on tuesday once the buckets are fitted and its had a wash. oh we found a fault on the spinning frame with the fez and leaving it outside.....in the rain......upside down......with gear selector removed........ it needs a sunroof to erm let the water drain out shall we say lol. its collected a nice puddle on the roof lining, no biggie. theres naff all else left in the car anyways haha.

belive it or not this is the rangerovers damage that I hit the back of that wrote off my civic. .... like I said, just the reflector on bumper... oh the bloke isnt claiming which I supose is some great news on my behalf. just a shame what happened to my civic and to save scrolling up.... my civic....

ok I will upload them after work for yas. putting it all backyogether today (m3) so I can get a few more snaps

the m3 should be finished tomorrow so hopefully its back to work on the fezzzzzzzz anyone interested in seeing whats happened with the m3??? i can upload pics if you wish

no not yet. battery run dead now anyways... not sure on full damage yet as not had a full look at it. might get a chance over the weekend

removed the induction from the car today. the bonnet was stopped against it. induction has a deepish scratch (not pierced all way threw though) n the tubing was not bent. where it goes through the chassis arm the arm was crumpled up the induction tube. however the induction kit is not dinted or bent at all. so the chassis arm n bonnet where smashed up until the induction. either its a coincidence or the inductions long arm has acted kinda like a roll bar n stopped the damage going closer to us in the car. makes me wonder......

35 in a 40. just left a roundabout n was picking up speed. got to aprox 35 then had to slam on. was more than a safe distance back but I just skidded and didnt seem to slow. plus the back end of a rangerover is bloody solid

looks like it could possibly be oil on the floor. cam cover has took a bullet anyway.....

nothing as of yet to update, been concentrating on the m3. painted bumper, wings and alloys however the paint used on the bumper and wings is way off the rest of the car so im going to be painting its sides to match and matt blacking the roof and bonnet. boss wants the m3 finished before we crack on with the fez. just thought id let you know whats happening as some of you know i crashed my civic so just updating so you dont think im neglecting the forum now. will continue this build thread for you when things happen

thought id post a pic of the focus. had a good drive of it today and i must say im over the moon with it. pulls real well, nice and quiet (until i get induction and exhaust ), good space etc. only fault is theres some lacquer peel on the bonnet but lucky i will be able to sort that at work its dirty on the pics but gave it a good clean today, quick bucket and sponge wash, engine bay clean, interior valet and its come up real well, was too dark to get some pics of my cleaning work by time id finished lol, spent a good 3 hours on it anyways. as i said pics dont do justice as its real grubby. il get some clean pics tomorrow plans i want to concentrate on 1st are on engine bay (induction, silicone hoses, painted cam cover and some stainless cam cover bolts, etc etc). body wise im thinking black bits like my old punto, or maybe gun metal grey for alloys. not sure yet. oh price of the focus........ £400 again off my boss not bad i dont think, just a shame about the lacquer peel but will sort it out

i havnt even got one yet and you all throwing ideas at me haha will get some pics of the focus tomorrow and give me ideas on that lol. its same colour as my old punto so thinking adding black parts to it like i did that. feels nice to drive, no wooden trim anddddddd IT HAS CUP HOLDERS!!!!!!!! not had a car since the punto that had cup holders, well the saxo did but they where on the inside of glovebox lid, put a cup on there, soon as you accelerate you make the passenger look like they have weed themselves haha, they where rubbish

yeah tried to be careful with wording due to rules n yeah well now iv seen a teg front end fits an mb that may be my better option. looks good to that. n yeah thought maybe power steering fluid but my 1st reaction was great looks like oil. not even tried opening the bonnet yet though. hopefully the induction I can modify to fit the focus somehow as thats untouched we will see anyways...

took the focus off my boss today feel bloody quick. well compaired to the civic lol. sad to see the civic at the yard in the state its in but yeah as mentioned il have a couple more pics, will put em on now

bloody hell that looks interesting. what would that involve changing? the chassis arm on drivers side of my m is rather mangled so be to much work I think. would love another honda but due to funds il have to take that focus as again cheap off my boss deffo want a teg sometime soon. gutted I never got round to seeing mine with the spoiler on. think il just be stripping it for parts. not had chance to look at the engine but as you see on the pic looks like theres oil. unless thats power steering fluid. not had a good look. had a quick glips under the bonnet and could see the induction kit stopped the bonnet going further back. Induction arm is not bent and the bonnet has gone right up to that. alloys are fine. interiors fine. bonnets deffo had it. bumper looks okish. drivers wing is b****red (stops drivers door opening all way out) passenger wing not sure about. radoator and slam pannel took a beating. the rads are bent back at the top. so looks like il sell what I can n then scrap the shell. I am gutted as I was building up some plans for it. as said though we all ok. still feel stiff necked though. probs feel it in the morning but the car introduced me to honda and I know for a fact im now honda blooded and will get a honda soon enough. gotta grab the focus tho as I need a car, its cheap, as fords go reliable ish, not honda reliable but still better than a saxo or fiat lol. its 5 door nice interior so that will do me until I get a dc2 cheers for the messages though guys

I know least we all ok. other than feeling stiff. got another car lined up off my boss tomorrow anywa. sadley not a honda. but a 1.8 16v mk1 focus. will continue the rx fiesta build on here for u guys tho

well life with my civic was sadly short lived happened this morning. some wolly a few cars infront must have indicated and braked late because the car infront of me sharply braked and so did the one infront of that. I was traveling at more than a safe distance and was 5mph under the speed limit as it happened, braked soon as I seen brake lights but I just slid straight into the back of the rangerover hence the high up damage. crash sensors wernt triggered due to the hight of it so airbags wernt deployed. me and my missus both suffering a bit of whiplash n had my 3year old lad in the back and he was fine. just screamed when we bumped. bit of a wind up tho as I was the rear car I have to take responsibility even though it was the prat at the front of the que as both the rangerover I hit and the car infront of that both said they had to sharply brake. as for the rangerover. rear bumper was fine, not a scratch but the only damage was the rear reflector on the bumper that smashed. one word to top it off...... gutted

well they deffo made difference on how it runs. feels much smoother n more responsive than it has lately. starting up is still a lil cranky specially in the cold. think the dizzy could do with being changed next. that might help with start up

looks like it will be on hold a few days. boss bought an m3 and iv had to take the bumper, grill and wings off it so I can respray them. no doubt crack on with the fez rx soon.....

started up a lil better and didnt feel as lumpy as it has been doing lately. really think the dizzy needs doing to though with the amount of corrosion on the pins

I was going to say, if you had seats in there would you get spun in it! il see what the boss says tomorrow haha

spark plugs lol. even that was a mission itself, i couldnt get one of the plugs out as there was a rubber ring around the base of it and i couldnt get my socket round it. so changed the other 3 and went back to that plug and took me a while but managed to dig it out. looked like the rubber ring from inside a spark plug socket and looked like that plug hasn't been touched for ages as it was grubby. all the plugs looked quite grubby but that one was worse. i also took a look at the dizzy cap and all 4 pins in there had white corrosion on them about a mm or 2 thick :S so scraped that off but im guessing it needs replacing. as for windows i put the power motor back in and checked the wiring between the door and wing and all looked fine, was some grease though but im guessing someones put that there to protect connections from corrosion.. so im guessing the resisters in the power motor have blown so il have to replace that with a new one or 2nd hand we will see. didnt get the wing done as i had a footy game at half 5. only just got back now n its dark so rest will have to wait. least i got to spend an hour n half on the car though.... old vs new plug all the grease

wooohoooooo i have an update for my car bought some spark plugs lol...... gonna fit them in a min, replace the window power motor and see if i can find out why they playing up. top up a bit of oil then if iv got time get the spoiler on. but il probs only get the sparks done...... we will see

haha true . wouldnt surprise me if theres a few of them lying around at the yard.

haha we should put the rx engine on the front of the frame. attatch the rotating part of it to the rx flywheel. see who can hack the highest top speed lol. be selling this to nassa for space training lol. be similar to them spinning chairs in deep impact haha
