  2. Wow great job mate.. Simply amazing how clean it looks and love those reflection shots and the pirates black shots
  3. Awesome mate.. That's the third best possible car for me after a vtis aerodeck and white 1.5 aerodeck lol Really looking forward to your new project and every item you swap over from your mb3. Will be a great journey I believe
  4. Yeah I was looking at you thinking this must be Nick lol.. You were wearing glasses also right? The hunt for the next rear lip is already on lol
  5. Yeah I know I am over it now that I have lost it but still needed to update the thread lol
  6. I got this one for japfest mate. Put it on a couple of days before fest but as I got to the first services it was already coming off so i just peeled it off and chucked it in the bin lol http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=301153818551&alt=web Love the rear badge mate.. Looks really nice.. I think front H black plasti dip should look really nice
  7. And finally the rear lip. A tragic story lol. The first thing I started spraying. £9.54 for a 400ml color coded aerosol spray can not too bad All ready for spraying Plastic primer applied It was fine when I sprayed the color on it But I sprayed the lacquer too close and it went funny So I rubbed it down with a scuffing pad and did one more layer of color and then 3 layers of lacquer and it turned out nicely Then the tragedy. As I was rushing to fit it the night before japfest and it was 11.30 at night when I finally managed to fit my rear bumper I just used some uni bond no more nails stuff and some double sided tape and one screw on each side to fit the rear lip. However as it was raining in morning when I stopped at services to meet Matt I found out the double sided tape had come off at the bottom but it was still holding on at the sides so I thought it will be fine till i get to japfest but when I got there I found out it had fell off on m5 . A couple of members confirmed this as well seeing a few cars drive over it so all that effort gone down the drain . I am looking for another one now so hopefully I will find it soon.
  8. Next up were side skirts. They turned up nice I think
  9. Thanks mate. I didn't get a chance to speak to you either. Got mixed in the crowd I guess lol.
  10. Cheers mate. Definitely go for it. Freshens things up nicely You could have seen it mate. I was at japfest on Civic5 stand lol Thanks Mr. Unicycling glad you liked it
  11. Next was the front lip. Did the same to it but I was unable to take any pics of the finished product
  12. Awesome mate thanks a lot. I will let you know as soon as I get them and I an ready to install them. We went around in circles at japfest I think lol
  13. I had a mb6 bumper laying around so I thought of doing something different to it. At first I was going to leave the headlight washers black but then decided against it and just color coded them also. Bumper primered I didn't take any pics after i finished color and lacquer as it was too late.
  14. Thanks. I got it from a paint shop near my house. They matched the color nicely. I was rushing a bit before japfest so had a few lacquer runs on the front bumper but I will sort that out soon
  15. So I need to stop being lazy and update my thread with all the changes I did before and after japfest First of all the number plate surround. Fitted 6 screws and its solid as a rock now
  16. I love the color coded look bro. If you like it I will definitely recommend going for it
  17. I love the full silver colour coded look mate. Always wanted to do that. Hopefully some more pics will help change your mind
  18. You have noticed right bro but I just sprayed the front and rear bumper and the lip kit myself for japfest
  19. Thanks a lot mate.. The best place to look for side skirts is if someone is breaking a Vtis. Otherwise the MG ZS side skirts also fit ours
  20. So it's ok to put screws into the number plate recess? Can you point out which holes did you use @UnicyclingTom?
  21. I tried fitting the rear number plate holders just now as it stopped raining for a bit. I have tried using the original holes as it shows in the picture But the plate holder is getting bent if I tight both screws so I am not sure what I am supposed to do here. Shall I make new holes or what? @UnicyclingTom I need your help mate
  22. That's good mate.. A good opportunity for people to learn from the experts
