Well it looks like my clutch is on its last legs! So the civic is going to be keeping me busy.. While I'm at it I'm going to change the gearbox for one with shorter ratios, anyone know what one to go for? Cars currantly running a S40 gearbox and will hit 100 in 3rd gear! So need something more sporty!

I have given her a service today including rotor atm and a new distributor cap, I removed the old one to find that it was made in 1996 so it's the original one! Done well to last 18 years! I also changed the spark plugs, put in a new fuel filter as I doubt this was ever changed, I then changed the oil and put on a new oil filter. I've also given the inlet manifold a good clean with carb cleaner.

good colour choice mate! That sounds better than doing them black as I think black will be too much!

Today I washed my car again and gave her a much needed T-cut and the phantom grey paint is gleaming now! I also put on my MB spoiler that I sprayed Matt black she looks a lot better now, I managed to get hold of the missing front bumper strips so put them streight on. Still thinking what colour to do the alloys.

I washed her today while the sun was out for a bit and she does come up quite well! I'm also painting a spoiler off an MB so that will be on soon I'm also buying a lip kit and all the service parts as she could do with it.

I was looking at doing an engine swap with a B18 but I dont want to kill an MB for it so I'm going for turbo build this summer 😎

Few little updates on my Ek ive brought a manifold from the scrapyard so I can get that nasty power sucking catifold off! I've also brought some team dynamics monza alloys for her too, and today I had my pro bomb back box welded on so she sounds nice and raspy now 😎 I'll get a picture up of it on the car. Ive also had the tracking done all round for good measure. Still loads to do to her, carnt wait for better weather!

I'll look into the VTi body kit should be easy for an Ek, I'm going to find an MA in the scrap yard and take the front end and hopefully it should bolt straight on. The car also passed its MOT today after a little welding work so I'm happy it was only that. Will be starting work on this car tomorrow so keep a close eye for up dates.

it shure is, but it's a good car even though the insurance is 300 a month! But to me it's worth it. The plans are to get the bits together for a turbo setup, that will happen next summer when we have better weather, and also got a lot planned for the exterior too! Might put an MA8 front end on her because I miss my old one this car is the same colour as my old MA so I had to get it

This is the car that replaced my 6g accord after i sold it because the gearbox decided it wanted out, so I decided not to bother to spend anymore money fixing it up as it was needing something replacing every week! I didn't like the car that much to keep on fixing it. So this EK saloon I have now is so much better and is worth me spending some cash on it as I love the thing! Not many of these around! I also have plans to turbo it, there's alot more parts available for this than my old accord. And it also seems a bit quicker even though it's a 1.5! Got a lot planned this civic
