    I love my MA carnt fault it apart from the gutless D14, it aint that bad when it gets going... Should be better when I put the D16 in. If it's not a pain in the a** swaping looms over

    Well someone on the FB page has put a D15B into their MA8 without swaping interior loom over just wired it, but I carnt find his project on here..

    Getting the engine in is not a problem I can do that, just need info about looms and wiring vtec in please.

    I'm sticking with my MA8 as I like everything about it, the colour is rare and it was one of the very last P reg MA's before the MB face lift, I just want that D16W4 vtec into her from the deck and I will be happy so could do with some more in depth info please!

    It does look too good to break, but I'm sure it will help other M's in need aswell as mine, the more bits sold = less being taken to scrap yard

    Also wouldn't I just have to switch ecu's over instead of loom?

    I know the engine will fit in my MA, but ill just have to swap looms then, is the interior loom a long swap?

    Thanks mate, I mainly want it for the engine, ABS brakes, drive shafts ecu etc. And just sell the rest in bits, because all the pannels are mint!

    Well to me mate it aint worth running as it has no T@T and I payed 230 quid for it... So would be a lot more use/money breaking it for spares. Don't get me wrong I love hondas... But its not as bad as people breaking Vti-s!!

    I have just brought a complete aerodeck 1.6 Vtec and would like to know if the engine will be a simple swap in to my MA8? Will the ecu fit my MA8 connectors? And will I have to swap engine loom etc? Also my car doesn't have ABS but the deck does, so will the shafts fit my hubs?

    I picked up the aerodeck today! So that will be getting brocken up for parts, she's in good condition inside and out. no dents to any of body work, and the engine sounds smoother than mine, apart from the new exhaust hasn't been fitted... but the owner gave me the new one with the car. I might put the engine in my MA8 seing as its 126 bhp, so a lot beter than my d14.

    Ill see what the D16 is like in the deck and if its a lot better than the D14 I may put it in my MA and turbo it.

    Still no luck on buying Mb6... So I might be picking up a 1.6 Vtec aerodeck tomorrow D16W4 engine. So I will break it for spares untill I can find a Mb6

    Still trying to buy a cheep Mb6 donor car for my MA... Cash is there waiting, but I carnt seem to find one around birmingham for sale!

    I know it does look like your MB3 when you first had it, them trims aint gonna be on for long lol, it came from birmingham sitting on someones drive, I don't know where the MB3 was before that, could have been cornwall haha

    She does need a bit of work doing to her, but that will be sorted out he has a good bit planned for this M but he will say when he opens his project thread

    My MA8 is on pirelli winter tyres, and its still crap on roads that are lightly iced, the front wheels just lock up lol. I havn't driven her in snow yet but I will find out soon...

    Its just a OEM 3 piece clutch kit, as I don't see the point in putting a sports paddle clutch in as I'm going to swap the engine in the near future. I've put some mtf in her today and went for a drive, the clutch bites great and the gears select perfect. I can definatly notice a big difference on pull off and general driving so my old clutch could have went at any point lol
