  4. Hi kink sry to bring this thread back. Im almost done to tune my car on dyno, but i have a question. Alot of people saying that even with my car tuned i wont make more power than the stock intake manifold until i get itr cams atleast. Is it true ? I have tri y header, full 2.5 catback with magnaflow, 70mm intake, 66mm s2 tb, s2 intake manifold and cold air feed to the front bumper with a panel K&N Thanks
  5. Hi, yes there is a small blackbox with immobilizer also, but id you disconect the harness the car wont turn on. Any more ideas ? Thanks

  8. Good evening, A friend of mine bought a civic mb2 (1.4) he made some mods and now after putting a p28 witha chip on it, the car cranks but it doesnt start. The key light just keeps blinking. If he uses the stock ecu it atarts right away. What could be wrong ? He shaved the harness lile mines are (mb6) to work with a p28. thanks

  10. Hi everyone, I noticed since I bought my car, everytime the gas tank is around 1/4 or below, my car has problems in starting. It takes longer to start. Does anyone know if is it normal on our engines ? I have no CEL, I replaced, sparks, spark wires, dizzy cap, rotor, ignition module and fuel filter, and stills the same. Thanks
  11. Hello everyone. Atm, my b18c4 has header, catback, magnaflow muffler all 2.5". I also have skunk2 intake, skunk2 throttle body, k&n filter and cold air feedbat the front bumper. I was thinking abou getting a p28 or a p1j to chip. But my question is, wich basemap should I use ? Thanks
  12. Good morning everyone, My problem seems fixed. My friend lub'ed the TB spring with some WD40, thightned the TB cable and we adjusted the TPS to 0.45 at idle. my car seems to run smoothly now. Thanks everyone
  13. Good morning everyone, well yesterday i did some tests and its the tb stickinging. If my engine is off, the tb is lightly and it opens and closes very easly. When the car is on, the tb turns heavy and inremove the throtte cable and with my hand i notoced some reaistance and it keeps sticking if i gently push the tb and let it. :S

  15. Hi everyone, I recently bought a skunk2 pro series intake and a alpha series throttle body, im having a problem eith the TB. The throttle body gets stuck if i gently tap the gas pedal, to go back to hisboriginal position i need to tap the gas pedal and it will idle fine. Anyone knows a fix for it ? Thanks
  16. Hello everyone, My mb6 has a collector 2.5, straight pipe 2.36 and still the oem muffler. I was thinking in the future to replace the muffler and to buy right now a Skunk2 pro series intake with a 66 alpha series throttle body and few days after remap the car. My questions is, is 66mm too large for a MB6 with only intake/header/exhaust ? or it will be ok ? Thanks
  17. PS: If i remember correcly, the first time i noticed that flat spot it was after i Installed my new headers. Today i tested a p30 ECU of a friend of mine and I didnt feel the flat spot at 5300rpm but I didnt have vtec also. Could it be because i installed a new header with a 2.5 collector and i need to tune my car ? Thanks
  18. Hello i can say this starting to happen few days after i extended my o2 sensor cuz of my headers. Could it be bad reading cuz of o2 sensor ? No check engine light
  19. Hello everyone, After i chamged my denso sparks to NGK, i changed also the wires to blue ones from NGK, the dizzy cap, rotor and ignition module and the problem still exist. Could it be possible an exhaust leak do it ? Cause i have one where my catback meets the tube to the backbox. Thanks
  20. Hi everyone, mu orders didnt arrive yet. But My fried inspected the rotor and he saw it was burned. He cleaned it with a knife and it improved a bit, it seems it is the rotor. Monday i think my order will arrive and i will change the rotor too see how it goes
  21. Good evening everyone, Recently when I was going to work, it was a rainy day and at low rpm when I accelerated i felt my car bogging between 1500-3000rpm. The problem went away after few miles of highway. Few days after the samething happened and after I let the car idle for few minute the problem is gone again. One thing that I noticed is, when im on the highway when I press the gas, the car seems to pull very well until 5k rpm after that between 5k and 6k it seems there is some loss of power. I also noticed that if i keep the accelerator steady around 5k rpm the car seems to misfiring/loss of power. Any of you had a similiar problem ? What are you opinions ? Thanks PS: my distributor cap has cracks new the screw areas, does it affect the performance ?
  22. Hi KiNK43, Thanks for your replie. So im thinking in the future to get the intake and get a p28 or p30 and chip it with a b18c4 map and raise the vtec to 5500 rpm. If I will get the cams and stay with the stock rev limiter 8500-8600 its safe with ITR cams and the stock valve train, only if i want to rev higher i will need to upgrade my valve train right ? Thanks
  23. Hello everyone, I have a lil question. The b18c4 has dual springs on the intake side and single springs on the exhaust side right ? My question is, at this moment my car has K&N, tri y header and 60mm external catback. I wanted to buy a skunk2 intake manifold but most of people says if we dont remap it we will lose power. is it true ? Another question is, to fit ITR cams on b18c4 do I need to upgrade the single valves to dual valve springs on the exhaust side and retainers or I could just drop the ITR cams and it will be ok ? Thanks
