Hello everyone, I have started to inquire for the installation of cruise control on our MB6 inspired by Integra GSR USDM ,for now I already home the control unit the actuator and buttons for steering.
As a guide for now I'm studying that this EG. http://www.civic-eg.com/causeforalarm/cruise_control/index.php

I want to know someone in the forum has ever tried to set the cruise control on MB6?

Hope that you get further than I did with variable speed intermittent wipers from an accord :D

I'm still impressed that I managed to get JDM stalks working properly!

Hello everyone. I'm bringing this old topic back on top. Does anyone know if there is a cable reel for ma9(or Rover that matches) with cruise control cables in it? Must have one plug for the horn, one for the airbag and one for the CC. And what cruise control switch match with the ma9 steering wheel? Do we have any part codes?

Not sure mate as original poster never updated this to say whether its possible. I'm thinking that it might be possible to retrofit it using parts from an accord of similar age, but not 100% sure on that. Know that I looked into trying to retro fit it to my 1st gen mini Cooper S, as some had it, some didn't, but it was a major job. That might be partly due to them running canbus though, which is a pain in the backside! Might be easier on our civics.

Hello Dave, thanks for your reply. I don't want to add CC on my civic. I want to use the CC steering wheel switch and through the cable reel to add radio controls. I did it on my last EK civic with success, but I have to know if there is a CC switch that matches on ma9 steering wheel, and of course if there is a cable reel with CC. If not, is it possible to retrofit the cable reel and terminate 2 extra wires?

So are you looking to replace the steering wheel with one that has cruise control switches?

Assuming that the steering wheel fitment on the ma9 is the same as the MB/MC one, then you're looking at wheels with the same fitment as eg/dc2.

I'm fairly sure that ek and accord shared the same wheel, but it's a different fitting to ours.

EDIT...

Just realised that it looks like the cruise control buttons are an add on to the steering wheel.

It might be worth exploring parts diagrams like on Honda parts uk to see what optional extras might have been available and get some parts numbers to help your search.

If, as the first post suggests, the US integra had it as an option, then the cable fell from that could be compatible - in which case have a spy at acura parts websites in the US for parts diagrams
