K-Swap? (Need advise)

Hi there lovely people,

 

I have a 98 civic mb2 current with a D14A8, and I'm considering swapping a K24A3 into it.

 

I've got a garage quite local that does specialise in Honda so I'd be able to consult them, but I was just wondering if any of you guys have had experience k-swapping your civics and what the process was like.

Only k swap I can think of off hand was @DAVEMB2 with his k24 beast

Yip, as Simon says have a look at Dave's K24'd mb.........started out life as a 1.4 MB2! The standard on his car is mind blowing mate, have a look at his build thread here >>>

Dave has ocd like me (he'll never admit it though! lmao) and the attention to detail on this one will blow your mind. The car has been basically fully restored from a bare shell to the modified monster it is now. Been in it and honestly, you can drive it like miss Daisy and it potters about like any civic m quite happily. Give it some beans and you'd better be holding on!! Think he was well over 300 BHP........and thats naturally aspirated, not even a turbo in sight.  Car is beautiful in every way!

It's a straight forward swap nowadays mate. Eg mounts and k swap loom. Shafts and headers all available. Can get aftermarket shifters at a decent price.
