Those wheels look sweet, SHINY!!

And maintaining the heart of the VTi-S the proper way... [smitten.gif]

Yep! Cam belt looks decent still as well so I won't worry about that for now! Insurance is up in April so now this is where the spending stops as I need to save the money I have left towards that! Did buy an new wire cutter & stripper tool to help me with the JDM stalks! So when I get a free day I'll be extending the eleven wires for the wiper stalk to finally get them fitted once and for all!

Sounds good! It will be interesting to see when the stalks are done.

I keep saying to myself I got to stop spending, but it's very difficult...

Bloody insurance boo.

On the knocking note, I have a strange knock from the back too. Since she's been slammed, don't have an ARB and all the bushes appeared fine at time of fitting. I'm willing to bet it's some of the interior trim. Or even the slidy shelf thingy bob. Try checking all that's secure.

Another couple of jobs out the way, peace of mind for a while, insurance is a PITA, I sorted mine yesterday, got a good deal from Adrian flux though £10 more than my renewal quote but with all mods declared and including better breakdown cover than I have and saving the £45 for that.

Wheels look absolutely mint, seems a shame to take that paint off and respray but black is not right.

Been back out today to work on the JDM stalks, thought I'd show you how I got on!

To say the least, I'm quite pleased with myself!

Now for various pictures to show you what's involved!

First off, unplug the wiper stalk cables, you need to extend these by about 2 inches, a bit more would be better!

Then the steering wheel needs to come off, disconnect battery etc etc

Then you are presented with the SRS reel which just has three screws to remove and a connector at the bottom to unplug to remove.

Same for the next part here, rotate the white part in the middle to reveal the screws.

Finally get your JDM mount with stalks! Fitting is the reverse of removal!

Now to route the wiper cables you have extended, could have done with being a bit longer but I just got away with it!

Before you plug the wiring in you need to remove the cables from the connectors and swap them over as if you were mirroring their positions!

Once you have done that, time to plug it all in!

Steering wheel refitted and ready for testing!

And that's it!

I have minimal electrical skills so based on that most of you should be able to do this!

I got my mount from an EG apparently off eBay!

Still got the ITR mount and stalks but it doesn't have the rear wash/wipe switch, ideal if you have a de-wipered rear screen! 8-)
