No real updates on the MB3 so far, hoping to get the alloys on today though! Just waiting for Halfords to let me know when I can collect the trolley jack I ordered. Also had a little meet on Sunday in Northampton with some friends. Did 540 miles in my MB3 that day and it didn't miss a beat once. It's just developed a rattling noise under the car which I believe is due to a broken exhaust mount. Took the wheel trims off because I thought I'd have my alloy wheel nuts that morning. Nopes. Friends' Paseo, 325i and EK4. Didn't know the EG driver. Dirty car club. I'll get pics up once the alloys are on and the car has had a wash.2 points

Awesome, I have a bag with 8 bulbs that would fit the clock, I can send you a few (incase any don't work) so you can replace it, you'll need a blower resister pack which can be had from eBay for less than a tenner! An MGZS 180 rear anti roll bar would help with the roll the deck has Might be worth sending 10000rpm a message about the lighter and ash tray, he breaks M's for parts or you could try ebay again for those? Looks a good base from what you've described!2 points

So, first rant. Well only rant. Friggin halfrauds.. Autoglym shampoo conditioner, £9.99 for 1l .. Bit pricey but not the worst I've seen. BUT next to it on the shelf, 2.5l .... Wait for it... For £14.99!!! Do they really think we're that stupid!?! So rant over, got that and a nice new microfiber wash mit. Off we go. Before; So after a quick clean. And I mean a very quick clean. Was only out there for an hour and a bit. Plus I started to loose the light and the temperature dropped causing it to condensate before I had a chance to dry with the second micro fibre cloth (Grrr) But here are a couple of after shots. Came up pretty well I think. Although the paint is in DESPERATE need of a polish. It was proper nails down a black board feeling when going over the roof and bonnet. Loads of swirls, but majority should work out over a couple of polishes. There are maybe 8 'dings' I've identified, so fingers crossed a ding master company will be at japfest next year.. But despite the condensation, I think she's scrubbed up pretty well for a first clean. Quick once over with a little break cleaner and a rag on the bay too Keen for your thoughts chaps!!1 point

Not the same pattern, either silver or carbon, I'm assuming you have the black ash in yours so you'll probably want to swap it anyway. Check out one4all's thread, he's just changed to the silver in his and it looks nice.1 point

MG ashtray is a complete cover, so the lighter is inside. MB6 arb is around 4mm thinner than the 180's but as the deck doesn't have one to start with it's an upgrade.1 point

Yeah it wasn't the best. In fairness, it was only the last kinda 5 miles that took over half hour each way!! Today I hope if the weather stops being shit!! Need to sort out wheels I want on. Then look at having the tyres changed over. Induction kit can go straight on too1 point

Sounds like you've found a cracker, little niggles are easy to sort really and the missing ashtray is a good excuse to upgrade to the mgzs one, much nicer. If you can't find an mg arb, give us a shout I have an MB6 one with brand new (oem) drop links, you can have it for a reasonable price.1 point

after months of thinking i'm going NA then followed by months of reading parts upgreads. i came across turbo charging and super charging, which would be better and as a daily,as something that hasn't been done. i decided the best was super charging, then i came across the VOTECH SuperCharger and the JACKSON SuperCharger then more reading and i came across the Procharged SuperCharger which runs like a turbo but cooler which means more Power1 point
