  5. 1. Inspect pressure plate surface for wear, cracks, burning or warpage in excess of .006" (.15 mm). Measure warpage with straightedge and feeler gauge at several points. Inspect clutch pilot and release bearing for smooth operation and looseness. Replace bearings if necessary. 2. Inspect clutch disc lining for excessive wear and burned or oil-soaked condition. Measure disc thickness and rivet depth. Inspect clutch disc for loose torsion dampers. Measure clutch disc and flywheel runout. Replace clutch disc if not within specifications. 3. Inspect flywheel ring gear teeth for wear and damage. Inspect flywheel for wear, cracks and burned condition. When measuring flywheel runout, push against flywheel to take up crankshaft thrust washer clearance. from here http://honda-tech.com/acura-integra-6/integra-dc2-clutch-assembly-removal-installation-inspection-more-2594608/

  6. phoned up tegiwa about my input shaft bearing.. man that place sucks I absolutely hate them useless t****rs. when I ordered I put a friendly note on saying please dispatch asap so I can get my car back on the road. Marked as dispatched on ebay. Estimated delivery date 4th May. Rang em today said they haven't even got the part in stock due in Monday. So ill get it Tuesday. I was like what the heck you've marked it dispatched. Lost my rag and hung up. I've booked Wednesday off to fit gearbox back. So if I get bearing Tuesday means I've gotta hammer it all back together Tuesday night after kids gone bed. Rush job. Not happy!! Also my clutch turned up asked for a refund was a right flimsy waste of time. so now ordered an exedy dc2 clutch For peace of mind. Will get there eventually

  18. Car was covered in poo. So gave it a quick once over. Too late the poo has left marks in the lacquer. Not bad and I'm sure will polish out just fine. So stuck a cover over it for now. Body/paintwork isn't quite how it was, but still looks good after a wash. Super excited to get back on the road in this!
