I've always wanted bonnet gas struts on the MB6 since my E36 had them, so I bought a kit for the MG ZS from Dark Ice Designs. The Celica is still ticking, waiting for me to afford it again.

I pulled off the head last weekend and took everything apart for a good clean. I lapped all the valves, replaced the valve seals, changed the headgasket etc etc. Compression is now up to 190psi on all 4 cylinders (not bad for a 190,000 mile motor). I will monitor oil consumption over the next few weeks, but the early signs are looking good

Another trip to the Nurburgring this year! This time with some semi slicks up front, decent brakes and the U2Q7 gears and LSD. Pics to come, but I manage to go pro both a lap on the Nurburgring, and the Nurburgring GP Circuit. Here is the GP Circuit. Go pro didnt record til half way through the session, I was about 10mins in by this point.
