sounds similar to a problem i had with mine a month or two ago. For me it was the ignition switch on the back end of the barrel. I just had to remove the switch, open it up and clean the contacts inside then put it back together and its been fine since then. Its worth a go for a free fix.1 point

Might get a run about and put the deck into a long term project got to many bits and bob's to call it a day on the old girl. Not many left1 point
