  1. Look forward to seeing her all spruced up. I think if your a honda guy just can't shake it. Nothing compares. We have a fairly new daily. Nice but don't enjoy it. Get back in my old s**t box civic and feel right at home. Same feeling used to get in the eg. Even me old deck. Just a 90s honda thing

  2. But then youll have the satisfaction of driving something different to all the other bland modern boxes on the road.....and being able to blow them away! Plus theres the love youve built up with tubs.

  3. Finally got a date for the welding... 23rd October... Looks like a couple of weeks work Then it's back to fuel fixing, service, brake caliper refurbish, disks n pads, and back on the road, then to the body shop. Taking so long to get my baby sorted, and probably going to end up costing around what I paid for her 13 years ago

  4. Yep, if I can wind the clock back on her a bit I'm comfortable with that. I always regret that my EG ended up having scrapped, and don't want to end up having the same regret with tubs. And you're right about new cars... I've had loads of hire cars through work this year, and haven't really enjoyed any of them. No soul.

  6. Lol it was all because all the honda sites were for 3 door civics and civic coupes......i went and joined with my 5 door and was ridiculed! So i thought bugger it! I'll create a site for 5 doors only! The rest, they say, is history.
