  1. Couple of nice days spurred me on to get the car out and do a bit again. Few jobs I'd like to tackle this year. Started with fitting mg zs rear ARB. Thanks @dr_broon. Damn it was rusty, so had the full works blasted acid dipped and powder coated. All new links and bushes. Straight away when cornering at speed can feel the improvement. Had a ongoing issue where loose boost control. Which leaves me with only 6.5 psi of boost which is not good when expecting the shabang!!! After consulting with Rich, we concluded that the solenoid is getting cooked as it's fairly close to the manifold which naturally gives off loads of heat. So replaced that and moved under the headlight. See how that goes. Then time for a quick was literally spent a quick hour getting the dust off from storage. Looks a bit better.

  3. Jake, did you add any washers or spaces to the bolts when you fitted it? I seem to remember when folk first started fitting them it was a thing because they had a different geometry to the civic one. I need to check mine when I get it back, but can't remember the crack.

  4. We had the 2.0 exec tourer before the type S. Was a nice car to drive, and felt even more solid than the type S - even the doors felt heavier (maybe because of the upgraded speakers of the premium sound system), but the 2 litre seemed a bit under powered in the tourer - especially when loaded with a week's worth of camping gear.

  5. Rear LCA is eg/dc2 length 100% The confusion comes because the fork on the bottom of stock shock absorber is narrow like an ek. So usually you would run an eg rear LCA and fit coilovers with the wider (eg) fork to suit the eg LCA. Front lower arms can use mg zs. Dc2. Eg. Etc Only again Ek front lower arms are completely different design. As is the subframe etc.

  8. Just looked at that thread and it appears the DC2 integra does have same LCA's (or at least they fit our civics)

  9. Not really sure to be honest mate. I know you can fit MGZS front springs/dampers but the fork needs modding to get the height right, @noodels did this mod to his. So thinking that the MGZS LCA's may fit (but might require modding?) but not sure on any actual gains using them over OEM Honda ones. Would the DC2 LCA's be the same fit I wonder? Plenty A/M stuff available for them so that might be worth a look into. Have a look through the following thread as it may shed some light on it for you.
