Well, its been 3 years of fun, but sadly had to sell Mindy our mk1 tonight. Only sold her due to our health. Nice lad who bought her who's going to look after her. Miss ya Mindy, thank you for the memories x

I went with a MK2 Ford Focus in the end. There are still thousands of those listed for sale at reasonable prices. Both new and used parts are still very cheap and easy to find. The number of MBs of any age for sale seems to have fallen quite a bit even in the last year.

Confirmed, exactly the same Altho i haven't got them on as when i went to find my electrical tape someone had borrowed it i assume , i dont smoke bud do have a lighter for heat shrink and it had run out of gas. My car is a walk from the house so no access to electricity Tomorrow once ive dropped the kids off and i can get to a shop i can strip it down and remove the old lamps ........... again lol and finish the swap Really should have said only difference is the plug is for a merc
